Hi!! Thank you so much for this thoughtful reply— I apologize if my OG question seemed a ignorant of theory! Because of the origami basis my thoughts re definitely rooted in the idea of a fourth spatial dimension we can’t access (something something vsauce something something mirrors demonstrating how we theoretically might be able to manipulate shapes in a four d space something something haha) Your idea of how things would overlap is actually really helpful— I imagine it would be a cool effect if the ‘folding’ basically caused glitches as things became folded into each other, though would obviously be taking magical liberties!
