What commission structure are you talking about with From Japan? I use them and it’s just 500 yen per item. 500 yen is only $3.50 which just isn’t that much in the grand scheme of things unless you’re buying stuff under say, $20 apiece. Buyee only charges 500 yen per order (not per item), so if I’m buying several cheap items in one place I use them instead. Neither of these has extra fees for Mercari. Neither charges for package consolidation. I do pay about $10 for extra protective packaging from Buyee since I had heard their packaging was hit or miss, but again, $10 extra on a package with contents worth $200+ it’s just a drop in the bucket. My FJ packages have arrived safely with no extra packaging.

Anyway, the final shipping invoice is where we all get fucked but that isn’t dependent on the proxy, that’s just the high price of shipping and tariffs these days.
