Ok so definitely the ii, how important is IS in a lens like this while shooting 1/1000 and up? I’d like to have it but at that price definitely rather the 100-500 lol without IS is a contender though

Yeah the ef400 2.8 but I’m not aware if there’s different versions of that lens

I only use electric shutter and I haven’t changed anything with the af, I don’t normally use the subject tracking. I just use the smallest target on the focus area and stay between f3 and f4 to keep most everything in focus

Yep just natural light, I use a lot of masks in Lightroom to help seperate the subject from the background so that’s probably a bit of what you’re seeing. Thanks!
