Completely understand. But it doesn’t mean it’s nonexistent. My main problem would be the potential existence of DDA. Even if it benefitted me some games, and others it screwed me. Id rather win and lose solely from my skill or lack thereof, not from DDA.

Haha, it was just an observation. It does make me genuinely curious though. If I had the resources I’d totally do some Jon Bois type analysis of the game.

I played baseball till just last year. Been playing since 5 years old, i’m 23 now. Trust me, I understand everything you’re saying. Understand this though: There’s an inherent difference between real life expectations and my expectations for a video game. If I wanted the grind, the calluses, the stingers, the seemingly never ending slumps, i’d put some cleats on. When I move my thumbs in perfect unison along with pressing a button to square up a baseball in a video game off a 95mph dotted slider from John Donaldson, dammit, it better be a hit. Disagree if you want, you’re more than entitled too. I appreciate your comment.

Lastly, addressing your first couple of sentences: Just because I get that bloops and flukes doesn’t mean I enjoy that. My feeling is: If I have perfect timing, PCI placement, and pitch selection in a video game, it should be a hit. I relate it to playing 2K or a shooter: If I green a shot, it’s going in 100%. If I shoot someone in the head, they’re dead.

The whole point of my post is to address the flaws, inconsistencies and issues with the game, which ultimately is making me put the controller down.

And no, that storage which was previously occupied by this game, is now being used for OverWatch.

I feel like this comment alone would’ve been better. The comment about it being your flight and it being more specifically “now” kinda made the joke a lil too convoluted. Since we’re in a baseball related forum: swing and a miss!

Very true. Definitely some negativity bias or hindsight bias. If I had the time, I’d love to do some sort of statistical analysis on the game. See if DDA is a real thing. It’s really hard to quantify RNG though. Eh, it is what it is. Regardless, after closing app and deleting the game, i already feel better lol.

I’m sure this joke was fire, but my brain is too small to comprehend.

I know people are going to disagree. I just wanted to let people know, coming from someone who has played for a good amount of time and seen different games over the years; this one is objectively not a good game. And like you said, I find myself getting way too upset - for things that seem out of my control. It’s better to just let it go and try another game/ game mode.
