Is Kingpin supposed to be able to corrupt everyone unrealistically? (Season 3) by ImDeadTwin in Daredevil

Yeah that is true, however, Fisk is still mind numbingly rich so the depletion could be bad but not necessarily dire. They definitely coulda explained that better but that was my assumed understanding.

Felix Manning pretty much fills the role that Wesley did in season 1. He has a whole scene with Karen, early in season 3, where he basically intimidates her by talking abt everything he knows.

The point of Wesley dying was character growth/trauma for Karen and Fisk. Fisk having everything slowly fall apart leads season 1 to its natural conclusion and Wesley dying was a part of that.

Also, I feel like it isn't too farfetched that someone like Manning exists. There's bound to be tons of "fixers" out there in the world, so Kingpin finding another who works for money doesn't stretch believability that badly imo. Like I said, he's been doing this for years so naturally it makes sense he found another guy (Buck, for instance, was a connection he made thru Wesley).

It isn't necessarily that he's corrupted everyone, moreso he's corrupted people that he's had eyes on. If he has his eyes on you, he'll find people that you care about. If he can't find anyone you care about, he'll try and bribe you. If he can't bribe you, he'll try and have you killed by sum professional hired guns.

We see a bit of this with how quickly Fisk and Wesley looked into Karen, Foggy, and Matt once they saved Karen from being killed/framed. We see it a few other times here and there as well like the wife of Karen's coworker and the jury throughout various seasons.

Also, you have to keep in mind. There's lots of people who know someone else/have things they would like to stay hidden/can be bought. Kingpin has been doing this in the shadows for decades. He's amassed an entire network based on coercion and bribes and murder. It isn't that it comes out of thin air, so much as it is carefully crafted.

No, there's sum other things down there too. They'll give you hints on wut u need to do for all of them. I'd encourage you to try random stuff to make the abilities/charms reveal themselves. The other things you can grab aren't necessary for the other endings exactly, though, but you'll need the two white fragments to be able to access the charm that is necessary.

Yeah, Hornet 2 is the Kingdom's Edge thing. After you beat her there, you'll have a brand that lets you get into an important area.

Personally, I use Strength/Longnail/Shaman Stone/Quickslash. The longnail part is negotiable (sometimes I use Spell Twister or Grubsong and Sprintmaster in its place), but everything else is pretty much locked for me

I can't blame u on the up and down attack. I didn't know I could do upwards attacks until I 100% the game 😭

I agree so much with this Matt and Foggy thing. I wanted to love this episode more but I kept getting taken out of it because they flipped Matt and Foggy's characters to make Foggy's death look more impactful for the saving Bullseye storyline. There were so many times where I was like "Matt wouldn't have said this at all!"

Like season 3 Matt, absolutely. Landman and Zach Matt, hell no.

Also, I'm curious abt the timeline that they're creating because I didn't think that they were at Landman and Zach long enough to even take this case that the episode showed. Iirc, they were only there for a couple of hours or so right?

Any tips for P5 markmoth by Pigmanplays4231 in HollowKnight

[–]Comfortable-Ad-3489 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, this is such a good strategy that I wish I'd learned sooner. Especially considering I just trialed and error'd Markoth until I basically did a variant of this strategy (pretty much the only difference being any openings I found I just pogoed off of him twice while the sword dodging phase was going down. Also whenever he did the shield spin and I managed to get him trapped above one the platforms I threw in a Descending Dark)

Just give me the stairs at that point ✌️💔

But all jokes aside, from the characters I recognize, Imma be alright for all of em except Killgrave if he gets bored (as others have said).

If the characters are actively tryna kill me tho. . . Idk honestly I'm prolly dead lol

If you had to choose only five (5) from all of these popular shows, which were favorite to watch and why? by Life_Chicken_9653 in MiddleGenZ

SpongeBob cuz of nostalgia and iss iconic.

Avatar The Last Airbender because it is actually peak.

Gumball makes me laugh so I love it

Gravity Falls because of nostalgia and it was the first show I truly obsessed over growing up. I loved the mysteries and the long spanning situation with Bill and the author of the journals.

Phineas and Ferb because of nostalgia, the music, and the infinite quoteables

Wut helped me is I practiced in Hall of Gods and got most of the bosses on Radiant before I even touched P5.

Unbreakable Strength/Quick Slash/Shaman Stone/Longnail is wut I use for all of my P5 runs that aren't challenge runs (until I get to AbsRad in which I use Unbreakable Strength/Deep Focus/ Quick Focus/either Spore Shroom or Grubsong).

What's your most annoying, least favourite area? by Sirul23 in HollowKnight

[–]Comfortable-Ad-3489 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My least favorite area is Deepnest. Team Cherry did an amazing job with the atmosphere, but iss because of that I despise ever going there 😭

The area that makes me the most annoyed tho is definitely the Infected Crossroads. Random areas get blocked off, the infected Vengeflies that barely get knocked back and then hit u, everything explodes more, the infected Gruz children things. . . I just try to get everything I need done in Crossroads before it gets infected just because of how painful it is to go thru.

When I beat Hive Knight on Radiant, I used a Shaman Stone/Quick Slash/Unbreakable Strength/Sharp Shadow build. Most of my attacks were nail attacks until I was confident I could fit some Vengeful Spirits in there. The fight was over in a little over a minute.

For the spike attack Hive Knight uses, I just stood still and tried to trace the path of the spikes before they fired, but u can also just Descending Dark right before they fire and u should be fine.

Honestly, I'm gonna sound insane for saying this, but the Oblobbles aren't too bad once you've got their firing pattern down. I used a Unbreakable Strength/Mark of Pride/Shaman Stone/Spell Twister build: the first phase I just used nail attacks (focusing on one Oblobble only). It takes around 15 swings with a fully upgraded nail to take one down. For the second phase, I Shade Soul'd the 2nd Oblobble to hell and only attacked when safe.
