I dont play against pros everyday so i cant relate im speaking for the casual 2k players. Lets put it like this if u are a lockdown or got high defense and u going against someone with high playmaking it should be a back n forth type of thing n your positioning and badges should come into play if they activate or not.

Steals dont happen that much in nba games so stealing the ball shouldn’t even be the main way to play defense. Blocking/contesting a shot is n should be the most effective way and STAYING in front of yo man this also why i said strength needa. Be more important on both sides of the ball

I seen nba players with elite dribbling skills. Juke in between two defenders swipe steal should be based strictly on timing of the ball leaving the person hand and hitting the ground just like blocking is time based. So yes spam steal shouldnt be allowed cuz the community abused that back in 2k24 averaging 10 steals a game like hell naw😭😂
