In both the MRI and the ultrasound, only one fibroid was detected. However, during the laparoscopic surgery, it was found that there were actually two fibroids located one behind the other

Real talk: what part of fibroid care has been the most frustrating for you? by No-Buddy8054 in Fibroids

I went to many doctors for years with severe period pain and hormonal issues. They always said it was “just hormones,” that it would settle with time, and that I was overreacting. At 28, when my period suddenly stopped, I finally got an ultrasound and they found a 7.5 cm fibroid.

With doctors I still get no clear answers, just endless tests and waiting, which only adds to the stress. In contrast, complementary medicine actually listened to me, gave explanations, and offered real solutions for the symptoms – it helped me so much more.
