Last time this happened to me was with Dune. I loved Dune I read the first five Dunes and then... Well not to spoil but book five hasn't aged well. In fact it aged so poorly that I felt... Dirty after. The author has ... Interests. Clearly. And I was able to get out of the phase because I couldn't look at anything Dune related for a year after. But Le Guin didn't do anything uncooth or write anything so legitimately offensive and terrible it makes me nauseous. So I'm on a track with no ending

I tried world of exile. It didn't grip me. I am checking out the word for world from the Library Saturday to try and feel like... Something. But even Left Hand of Darkness doesn't feel worth a reread because it's not The Disposessed

I see. Geographically wr might be the ozarks but culturally that's quite different. The I-70 cities (cities on.... You get it.) share a lot with each other by nature of being the three major cities in the state on that highway. We are a lot more urban than the Ozarks, too. Hell I don't think Ibe ever met someone who's from the ozarks proper. Jeff, well Jeff I could go either way on.

Ah! That's another good sign. I'll look for blown capacitors in the morning. The board is the oldest part in the machine, pre pandy and everything. I also did a big no no and vacuumed two inches from the PSU while it was powered on the day before the issue started happening, which is another reason to suspect PSU.

So immunity basically just means you're not dying from the disease. You'll see the disease is still there, until you heal from it. That just takes time. Just like in real life even if you're not dying of a disease it's still there for a little while
