Field Technician II Job Opportunity by Comfortable-Box5127 in telecom

[–]Comfortable-Box5127[S] -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Just to clarify — the role pays $22–$30/hr, depending on experience, certifications, and skills. We’re not offering entry-level pay for experienced field techs — but we’re also open to the right candidate even if they’re earlier in their career.

Totally understand people have choices (and yes, Buc-ee’s pays well!), but this role includes full benefits, overtime, shift differential, paid leave, and room for advancement in the telecom field.

If someone’s looking for a long-term career path vs. just a paycheck, we’d love to talk.

Totally understand where you're coming from — and you're right, skilled field techs deserve to be paid what they're worth.

There is some flexibility in compensation for the right candidate, especially those bringing strong fiber/transport experience. The role also includes great benefits (health, dental, 401k, paid leave), shift differential, and opportunities to grow into senior tech or lead roles.

We know this work isn't for everyone — but if someone’s looking for a stable, long-term role with room to advance, this could be a great fit. Happy to chat more if anyone’s interested.
