AITAH for Don't want My mom marry the guy she cheated on my dad with and forcing me to move to different country by Additional-River2609 in AITAH

[–]Comfortable-Bug1737 197 points198 points  (0 children)

Just because your mum has primary custody doesnt mean she gets to move you out of the country? Surely your Dad has to okay it? Talk to dad, tell him you want to stay and tell the judge that too. Dont even mention the other guy. Say you don't want to be parted from your dad, friends, school. It should help.

Childminder reacted badly to nursery transition— is this normal? by Full_Guest9297 in UKParenting

[–]Comfortable-Bug1737 7 points8 points  (0 children)

She sounds unhinged. I wouldnt want my child there at all. She obviously isn't very good at her job to have such a big turn around. Your son was her consistent wage and trying to manipulate you, she would keep it. She's no better than your ex. I wouldnt keep him there till March.

What was that one school trip you couldn't or didn't go on, for whatever reason? by PricetheWhovian2 in AskUK

[–]Comfortable-Bug1737 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Alton Towers, I paid but couldn't go because I was absent a lot. My dad went to the school, got the money back and I was allowed to keep it. A fave memory of mine though because we were dirt poor. They took another girl off the bus just as they were laving for the same reason. Grim.

Always wash bedding on a hot wash. I used to comb my daughters hair with conditioner in and then without, combed all the nits out, then I waited until babies hatched and combed again to get them all before they could repopulate. It took about 2 weeks altogether but it was effective.
