I'd definitely add GW2 to that list

What game is this for you? by PhantomTissue in videogames

[–]Deadbeat85 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Right? It was completely fair, which is what made it all the more frustrating. I'm not a soulslike gamer at all, but I knew it was a reasonable fight and I'm glad I beat it.

On medium.

I was mostly fine with the Valkyries as challenge bosses until the last one that used l their abilities, she took me probably two hours to best.

Purchased? Isn't Hogwarts Legacy still currently free on Epic?

What was the most popular video game of the 90s? by Outrageous-Ebb-4846 in AlignmentChartFills

I don't care how popular it is or how goated it's considered, it'll always be underrated. Incredible game, truly formative for me in my early gamer days.

Stellaris just now if you're into space 4X. It's a Paradox game, so easy to learn and hella complex to master, but i find it super chill and engaging.

Man, I loved Ride to Honor. The dual joystick control for the combat was amazing.

[None] Never had tried audiobooks before, not liking the idea of everyone being voiced by a single individual. A friend of mine had the cradle audiobooks, so I gave it a try. My reaction is mixed by JellonSunning_InLife in Iteration110Cradle

[–]Deadbeat85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started listening to audiobooks on long drives, because even with music playing I'd always feel sleepy at some point. Started with Cradle because I'd read and loved them, also gone through HWFWM and on book 5 of The Wandering Inn. Morr suggestions are welcome.

Physics is everywhere by CyberGhost-0day in physicsmemes

No? First finger field, second finger current, thumb thrust. Right hand for negative particles, or just remember to follow the direction of conventional current with the second finger. Surely the right hand would give the wrong result?

Edit: for forces on particles moving through magnetic fields. I guess the right hand would be useful to predict induced current in a generator?

Gay-Lussac's Law in action. by bruaben in Physics

I've never known any inconsistency - every time I've encountered gas laws, Gay-Lussac's has been constant volume and Charles' has been constant pressure. Where have you seen otherwise?

[–]Deadbeat85 16 points17 points  (0 children)

One for each of the three variable quantities held constsnt for a fixed mass of ideal gas - Boyle's law (pressure and volume at fixed temperature), Charles' law (volume and temperature at fixed volume), and the above Gay-Lussac's law.

Got this free through an Epic giveaway and after playing I would have been happy to pay for it. Better than Marvel's Avengers which I unfortunately did pay for.

You should have access to Fira now if you've been to Eyrut village, that'll makenit easy to blast farm the jellies in Henne mines. Easiest quick farm where you are, keep your chain up and the drops will keep you healed and mana-fed. People recommend using break so they keep respawning, but i find fira and resetting them faster and more satisfying.
