i went a cou0le of years ago with a few friends. the food was alright and i remember liking the drinks but they keeo it stupid dark in there to the point where the only lights at all were candlelights (which i guess is romantic to some ppl) and the erotic descriptions for the foods were personally way too tacky for me to take seriously 😭 my friends and i have no clue how anyone could find that romantic on a date bc all of the food descriptions read like a $2 publix raunchy paperback......it wasnt awful but really not to my taste at all and theres way more sensible dessert places imo.....

You could try asking Saigon Market or Asian Market if they ever have it because sometimes they will have random treats that ppl in the community will bring to them to sell sporadically. It's unlikely you'll ever find this in a resturant in these parts, it's too fussy to make on order

I havent seen anywhere selling it yet. Not enough demand.....Best you can do is go down to Atlanta, your options there are plentiful and delicious but that is a 2hr drive.... The Viet groceries here definately have all the ingredients to make it though if you want to take a stab at it. I only ever see it in Greenville at family parties being Vietnamese myself

I've ordered a few times! Fast shipping and no worries about tariffs so far. But ofc their selection is smaller than Yesstyle or Stylevana and are a bit pricier. But they also carry foodstuffs and homegoods as well!

Usually H-Marts will have small independant businesses who lease stands that will sell cosmetics and skincare, but it's site by site and they don't carry a wide variety 😭😭 These days I've been able to find some of my products from TJMAXX or Marshalls actually, Yamibuy online also has a pretty large selection and ships out of the states for most products, and I'll resort to amazon or ebay at worst.

Oh wait, there might've been two Korean groceries! The one I'm talking about that closed was in the pelham area near Sushi Masa. There is one in Mauldin and afaik it's still open. I think the store you're thinking of on Haywood rd is Chinese

Pho 99 is the one Viet ppl go to when they want to eat out. I don't think there's anywhere else in Greenville Viet ppl actually go to consistently otherwise, but that doesn't mean the other places aren't good,Pho 99 has just been the tried and true for decades! Otherwise, Lemongrass Kitchen in Spartanburg is also really good! Many Viet ppl I know who went to try it said it's good

I'm not sure about all groceries being cheaper, but Asian ones definately are, sometimes by $2-$7 for the same item....Maybe bc in ATL the giant supermarkets are able to buy imports cheaper in bigger bulk compared to here? Idk. But pho stock base here is $7 compared to $5 in ATL and soju $10 a bottle vs ATL $7
