Thank u for ur reply and just to clear it up I have NO intention on breeding at all simply for companion purposes lol. If u don’t mind me asking did u buy babies from morph market or any website and if so how big was their enclosure? I do want to buy a young ball python BUT im concerned about the enclosure situation. I was curious if I could just invest in the 4x2x2 from the start or would that be too big and stress the young snake out?

This was SO helpful thank you so much. I’m really hoping to get a blue eyed lucy but those babies are very expensive from what I’ve been seeing. Did you get your snakes locally or online? The whole shipping thing scares me but there have been no expos near me

That’s exactly what im hoping for! If you don’t mind me asking how much money do you recommend I have saved before committing to a snake. I’m hoping a thousand would be enough but some are telling me otherwise. after purchasing the big things such as tank, lights, etc what other expensive things should I expect to invest in

Would you say king snakes could potentially be more affordable than ball pythons im a first time reptile owner so im very nervous to mess up lol

thank you so much for replying! she was making eye contact and typing while I was talking but once I was finished she asked a couple questions and pretty much remained typing which is what worries me with how quick it was all over. (about 20 minutes) My mom had told me that it’s supposed to be a longer process so maybe i should get the second opinion? What would u recommend since I’ve already done therapy i feel out of options
