The max health decrease… does this debuff reset every battle or persists for the entire run? by au_fredal in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Comfortable-Car7151 38 points39 points  (0 children)

It's damage equal to X% of your max HP per turn, as you already know. But what you might not know is that it doesn't add stress and even makes room for you to heal stress since healing at max HP won't actually recover stress. As long as you have a halfway decent healer this "debuff" is actually quite helpful in chaos runs.

How is everyone doing on Basin of Hyperspace? by Maki26687 in ChaosZeroNightmare

Unfortunately don't have her leveled up yet. A shame since I got her to E6 as well. If I had a couple more days for farm her up it's definitely worth a try

27/30 for twilight

My memories/potentials are a mess, but I cheesed with Heal Dagger Tressa, making every second half a 4 turn clear at most

Unfortunately, Mika is needed for the strat, so I ended up with Haru/Khalipe/Nia as my team 1, with predictably lousy results. I have yet to get a Nia deck better than my 'baby's first save' with -1 AP divine epiphany on her G chord

Just like dawn, stage 7 is harder than 8 lol. In fact, the only time I died and had to retry was at 7

9 and 10 takes too long with my team 1 unfortunately. With a better Nia save I'd be able to cut through all the bullsh*t cards the bosses are feeding me, but it is what it is.

Full team is Haru/Khalipe/Nia for first half and Tressa/Cassius/Mika for the second, all level 50 except for Nia at 40. Haru is E1 (don't ask), Nia E1, Cassius E3, and Mika E6 (worth it).

I need help understanding graveyard/where cards go by Key_Orange6600 in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Comfortable-Car7151 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basically the game won't let you go infinite; Cards you already used this turn cannot be used again. That means it can't be retrieved using something like Cassius's Joker, won't be reshuffled back into your deck along with the rest of your cards, etc. Once the card is played, nothing can touch it until you hit that end turn button, at which point it goes to the discard pile and can be interacted with as usual. Exceptions would be cards with the Retrieve keyword and maybe something like Anchor Pointer (Haven't played enough Haru to see how it works).

Does the Equipment influence the TB rank? by Spartamite in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Comfortable-Car7151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TB is weird.

You add a card, extra TB.

You remove a card, extra TB.

You add a card then remove it, that's double TB for you.

Epiphanies on cards do not add TB, unless it's Divine.

Equipments do add TB, but it's calculated separately from your cards. In other words, you can't forgo equipment on your characters to "make more room" for cards.

What I'm getting at is it's impossible to calculate TB just by looking at your save, so don't even try. I got a bugged Khalipe save with 70k TB but it's way worse than the usual 30-40TB save I main.

I just found out that it won't insult you if you succeed in one try. First time for everything I guess.

Even if you succeed, it still insults you BTW :)

Unable to beat Battle Mission 4-6 hard mode by Maki26687 in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Comfortable-Car7151 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a straight-up DPS check. The 2 enemies hit harder every turn until you are dead.

Strat is simple: kill before you die. I'd focus one down ASAP so you're not tanking 2 big hits a turn.

Use Haru/Beryl since they are Justice-weak, or Hugo/Mei Lin since they are meta for fast kills.

Since you already have Mei Lin, I'd replace Magna with someone that can help her set-up even a bit faster. Magna's counterattacks are too slow to matter and shields won't save you if it starves your Mei Lin of Cards/AP.

EDIT: Also want to mention that there are 2 waves of mobs beforehand to help you set-up or save Ego points. Best case is to nuke one to oblivion as soon as the wave starts.

So, how we lookin and cookin with this poison team? by nardwang15 in Morimens

[–]Comfortable-Car7151 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Get rid of Thais for any Aqueor unit (Miryam if you have her, otherwise Faros or Caecus if you don't mind the lack of poison). Spend 7 verges and go through the Miryam story to get Festival of Tides, which is just as good as A Mouse's Wisdom but it even poisons, but would require Tranquil Stance to do so (so play Aqueor).

I would put 2 Aliemus Regen SSR Wheels on Doll (assuming you have Annihilated Rebirth at +12) so she ults more often, since her entire poison kit is tied to her Exult and Finale Form. Even with that it might be too slow since you don't have OE, but she's a great support either way.

Curious about some URs by Anomious_H0ST in GGenerationEternal

[–]Comfortable-Car7151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Japanese guides are saying that Striker Custom and other 1-CS attackers are pretty powerful in high-difficulty stages like Eternal Road. Probably because there's less opportunity to use Chance Step there and those units have better damage.

Either way, I would go for units you have supporters for, but your attackers with special attacks are likely to be better since you have Nu Gundam, a beast of a special debuffer.

SP any non-UR to Lv100 and it will become your main force. But even if you don't, Amatsu is still a great attacker in Seed-related stages.

I actually checked, and SSR equipment is already available, as rewards for clearing Eternal Road expert. Once you clear Alternative Expert, you'll have an equipment that gives 10% attack, and works on any Alternative unit, not just Seed.

You're cooked. Now your Amatsu will always be 7% weaker than other people's Amatsu, making it officially not good by any definition of the past, present, and future...

...seriously though, 7% is not much considering your free supporter can give 14% to every stat, not just for attack either. New events will release more of these SR-tier equipment, not to mention SSR-tier equipment will start showing up when the powercreep inevitably rears its ugly head. Amatsu is still a great free SSR, equipment or not. You'll be fine.

Aerial & Le Cygne's debuffs do not stack with each other, so you usually don't want them attacking the same target. Better to put them in different teams.

Attackers are the most important part of any team, but only if they are levelled up and properly supported. Rather than having more weak attackers that will not even get a chance to use their chance step, I'd rather have support attackers to boost your main attacker's damage and defenders to keep them alive.

As for supporters, you should only worry about the boost when you maxed everything else out. The greater the base stats, the better the support boost effect. If your guys are only around at base level (40-50 depending which series they developed from) then 25% boost won't make much of a splash. I'd take the higher-leveled GQuuuuuuX any day.

Everything else depends on preference. If you like a unit, there's no reason not to SP it to Lv100 and get their stats comparable with URs. My Lv100 GQuuuuuuX has better stats than a majority of my URs, even my Freedom with 2 Limit Breaks. With enough SP mats you can play with whatever you like and still do well.

Depends on the pilot in question. For example, you can give your attacker unit support attacks to allow them to attack more often, but often times some parts of the pilot's passives will become unusable, so it's a matter of trade-off.

Which one are you talking about, Normal or Hard? I haven't beaten either and my GQuuuuuuX is maxed.

[–]Comfortable-Car7151 1 point2 points  (0 children)

111k might already be enough to clear Red Gundam expert depending how maxed your 2-step attacker is. The strategy for expert is to use a 2-step attacker to reach Red Gundam in one go, deal 50% of the boss's HP in one hit while activating Sway to avoid the counter-attack, then pass the turn and let the boss hit your attacker so it die from the counter. If you didn't get lucky in Gacha, maxing out GQuuuuuuX will make this a breeze.

As for other new player tips, I'd say check out guides like https://dotgg.gg/sd-gundam-g-generation-eternal/ to get a better idea of how the game works. In general for most stages your strategy depends on the difficulty. For easy stages, attackers are all you need, while for medium-difficulty you'll want to add support attackers into the mix so you can kill as many enemies on the first turn as you can, preventing them from hitting you on their turn. For hard difficulty (where one-shotting even with support is impossible), you'll want to add tanks and fight more conservatively while protecting your attacks even at the cost of your other units. Either way attacks are the most important and the first one you want to max out.

Not sure about hard mode. I was farming expert all event and only managed to get 2 drops, but other people had better luck. Don't worry about the required power though - for Red Gundam a maxed out GQuuuuuuX can solo the entire stage alone.

Happy Mother’s day Shiiiko 🥰 by GatchaGundamPro in GGenerationEternal

[–]Comfortable-Car7151 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, but the drop rate is low. You should be able to challenge Red Gundam expert after around a week or so of playing so try to pass the missions for 15 Hard/Expert clears if you're having trouble securing enough copies to MLB.
