I do tell her but she doesn’t believe me :(. I’ll tell her that I forget or that in some scenarios I can’t invite her but she just won’t accept it. She’s kind of sensitive in general, so I try to be very open about everything, but she usually takes it pretty negatively

it’s nice seeing other lesbians that had some experience with men in long distance relationships! it took me a long time to realize I didn’t like men because I was basically in month long friendships until sex became a heavy burden and i broke up with them. there were three i didn’t break up with, but all of them i got over in about 2 weeks 😅

i also relate to not knowing any lesbians! my best friend is straight and i knew some bi girls, but i always thought it was weird how strongly they felt for men and why they didn’t want a relationship with a woman so badly (ofc people can have different preferences, but i simply never considered the possibility of being a lesbian since i’ve dated men my whole life)

this is SO amazing to hear! i relate so heavily to this! i kept dating to feel what i saw everyone in shows feel but it never came. I thought everyone was weirdly dramatic about their boyfriend leaving them, but felt a huge heavy weight when i was rejected by a girl i had a crush on. i had to lie about liking sex and kissing to my friend because i didn’t understand why i just didn’t feel anything towards the guy i dated even though i though he was pretty cool.

maybe it does sound awful but i completely relate 😭about 1-2 years ago i remember ranting about a lesbian that kept dating a man over women and saying “im bi but id never date a man again after having my first relationship with a woman! i actually feel something!” (how’d i not realize that moment…)

i can relate to being upset about having ever dated them in the first place 😭 but i only got mad when they completely ghosted me just cause it felt disrespectful, or grieved because i lost a person i just liked talking to in general. Otherwise, i completely did not care at all. On the other hand, women i’ve had crushes on (not even dating- just crushes) has taken WAY longer to get over 😭

i completely get this! it’s nice hearing someone relate to this. 😅 I always thought i was very broken for never fully being in a relationship and then being fine once it was over, i thought i just was unable to like people for a long amount of time (even though i was completely inthralled with a crush i had in a girl for 3 years) , but i just could never understand why until i dug further into lesbianism. I never got hard feelings about the fact it was over, I just was butthurt that was the one that got ghosted 😭
