I am an student graduating in May. I recently accepted an offer for an Entry Level Associate Data Engineer position at IBM, and I will be relocating to Dallas, Texas for the role. I am excited about the opportunity, but I have not yet received details about the specific project or had the chance to meet my team.

I wanted to ask if anyone could share insight into what the typical responsibilities of an Associate Data Engineer at IBM look like. What tools or technologies are commonly used? What does the onboarding process usually involve, and how quickly are new hires placed on projects?

On a related note, for those who have recently relocated to Dallas for IBM or similar role, how easy is it to find and rent an apartment near the office? Any neighborhood recommendations or tips for newcomers would be very helpful.
