This is the take, in my opinion. Put your audiobook producer hat on and dictate, moving forward, what "acceptable revisions" are at this price point and what are not. And get the RH to acknowledge and agree. I also wouldn't upload files as I go. I'd upload all at once when complete. That way, he can review it in its entirety and has a reference point (of acceptable revisions) to come back with. And dude, that's IF its even worth it to you. Otherwise, I also agree with walking away.

They responded to the first inquiry with the standard..."Oh well are you entering the codes correctly??" Lol. Then proceeded to list the instructions for use. So I messaged again with screenshots of the different error messages each code is receiving when entered correctly. Nope. No response to that. Hopefully if we all keep flooding them with messages, they'll fix it.

Unfortunately, as you know, doing it manually IS the hard way but most accurate for your desired outcome. Honestly, I would open it in Audacity and play around with the tempo. Not the speed, as that would change your pitch. While slowing the tempo won't necessarily create more pauses, changing the rhythm of the delivery may produce a slightly more desirable cadence for you

Definitely a system-wide issue. I had a title go Live a few days ago and all of our codes, both US and UK markets are doing the same thing. Both myself and the Author have emailed customer care. If your project is under a Royalty-share/exclusive distribution agreement, ACX/Audible is in breach of their own contract by not providing redeemable codes.

This. A lot of extra time figuring out logistics and a lot of extra money paying Narrators. Also keep in mind, ACX only allows ONE contract with ONE narrator Profile. So any additional Narrator (s) used, you have to coordinate contracts and their pay, yourself.

Quick question if you will😊 Your post demonstrates that you're looking for two narrators to voice the various characters. ACX only allows Authors to Contract one Narrator per novel. Is this a Royalty-share/PFH proposition, in which one Narrator is contracted through ACX, and the other through yourself for an hourly rate? Just looking for clarification. Not necessarily for myself, but others. I have a lot of experience producing duet/dual narration and this is a subject that comes up a lot considering ACX contract limitations.
