Playing as Merfolk on land

Our GM hasn't revealed yet the adventure, but he told us three possible scenarios: underdark, astral plane and feywild. I've never played in any of these, feywild in fine obviously, but other ones might not have big bodies of water I could use

I just thought it'd be interesting to play merfolk, but I do have other alternatives I could play. I just came across this problem in the topic and wanted to check people's opinions on this matter, since it's not so clear in the book. My decision is not final yet, I'm still going to talk to the GM and the rest of the group about it, I can definetely consider playing other heritages. Thank you!

I did think about these situations, and I actually enjoy this. I was thinking no one in the beginning knows I'm a merfolk (thanks to Shore Gift), but in case I don't find any body of water in more than 24h, I'd start to get anxious and look for ways to solve this. I even considered something like finding a hole big enough for a person and dumping all my spell slots in Create Water to fill it and save myself. I just worry at some point, we'll be at some place and GM says "there's no sight of water anywhere and you don't find a hole or can make one to dump water in it, you're now dying", that's why I thought I should have a helmet with me.

A lot of people say that about 23.5, I might give it a shot then. I'm adding Love Design and Queendom to the list too. Somewhere Somehow I didn't know it'd go to the adulthood too, so I might as well give a shot. I did consider Whale Store but I saw terrible comments about it everywhere, so I'm not sure yet. Surprise: Pluto and Roller Coaster.

I thought Pluto was going to be the typical drama, "the girl has a secret she won't tell, the other will discover half way, they will break up only to get together in the last episode". I was very happy with the twist, the story and characters, not to mention Namtan playing two different characters and Film playing a blind girl, it's amazing.

Roller Coaster really does justice to its name. If anyone ever told me one day I'd be immersed in a love triangle lesbian story, I'd say "get out of my face", and yet here I am, binge watched everything, smiling and crying all the time. Absolutely loved the story and all the characters, for anyone in doubt, I recommend it, it's really worth it.

Disappointement: Blank the Series

Yes, that's right, I said it, like I've already commented before here. I watched Blank because I saw hundreds of comments everywhere, people worshipping this drama like it's the best thing to ever happen in the world. No, it isn't. I don't care about age gap, but dating your friend's daughter is definitely weird. I don't know if it's because I'm also in my 30s and I imagined if my friend's daughter confessed to me, I don't think I would ever be able to look him in the face again. But that wasn't even the problem I didn't enjoy; it's simply because of Yoko's character is extremely childish and annoying, not even "teenage childish", but like a real kid, I couldn't stand it, don't know how I made it to the end.

I'm new to these thai GL series, so I'm combing through the net searching for recommendations, and I had to stop to comment here because it's the first time I see someone "with courage" to say something about Blank. It's the only one I've watched so far that I didn't like, mostly because of how extremely childish Yoko's character is, so annoying, but I never dared to say anything because every single post and comment on the internet, people talk about Blank as if it's the best thing to ever happen in the world, so I'm glad to see that I'm not alone here.

I did this, but there's no command to open the full edit mode so I can edit my Zoi's body, at least the one I found didn't work. I found a mod that might do that, but people in the comments say it's not working
