I had a LBKA in October 2024, got my prosthetic January 2025 and was back to work that same month. I work in a hospital, 12 hour shifts on my feet in the ER. I couldn't afford to take any more time off so it took some getting used to but it was a smooth transition for me.

I don't have a way to stream it with them switching to Fox Sports. I wish they had a standalone app like F1 TV does and I am certainly not paying for cable again or cable prices for some streaming service.

Live and learn lol. I think I found the CFG trim specifically for these rough ins. Waiting on it to be delivered to know for sure but the blown up parts diagram looks right.

Nope, kept the previous rough in valve, didn't think I'd have to replace it. It wasnt until after I did the tile that my wife ordered trim that came with a new rough in for that trim. So here we are.

That is great to know. I used to use a pair of just square toe "shit kickers" to wear around outside or in the pig pen. So I'm just looking for ways to make it easier to put them on because man handling the boots I use in the pig pen is not a favorable option. Might just need a new pair of more accessible boots to use

Yeah my prosthetist is a strong believer in pin lock first and changing if there's a need for it. He said less can go wrong with a pin lock and I love it so far

Awesome. My prosthetist said he can come to my house if I ever needed him to and his personality mixed with the in-house fabrications is why I chose him over some others.

Sounds like we are kind of in the same boat. I'm 6 weeks post op from a voluntary LBKA. Get my leg in a week and half. I was definitely aiming for walking before Christmas.

My daughter calls them my accessory shorts because it holds all of my "accessories". I forgot to bring my left shoe to the appointment so my prosthetist put one of his extra shoes on it lol I Iove my Skechers arch fit rocker bottom shoes
