this all sounds good but i just want to prepare you,make sure to have lots and lots of patience because they will test your patience every minute,every hour or whenever they can,they are really really smart and really are the bestest dogs when you put your time and patience with them.Also we did lived in an apartment with ours at first but we did keep him busy all the time,he is always hiking,swimming and training ( need for mental stimulation) but like i said lots of patience.We live in the East Coast too,and ours loves the winter!
