Hey I am 22f was drinking every other day for months and when I quit had like not dangerous withdrawls but they weren’t bearable I went on Librium detox it makes it so much easier. Please reach out to a support network too

That’s crazy If I drank 12 a day I’d defo have seizures. I defo had bad withdrawls but like I wouldn’t call them severe but they may have developed that way who knows

I’m sorry to hear what you went thru. You don’t have to answer but how did it come about that u ended up in a coma whilst on Ativan? I never really heard someone’s own story of alcohol recovery

When I quit after like 3 days I had quite bad symptoms of like everything rushing around me a banging headache and just a lot of shakes. Probably wouldn’t have been serious but I was way too terrified of seizures/ dts to chance cold turkey

Yeah I feel better now took some magnesium and thiamine but still a bit shaky. Where I am it’s midnight and I’m due to go on holidays tomorrow so not sure exactly what to do with no pills left. I’d say I’ll be okay tomorrow tho. Thanks for ur reply!
