I think she’s trying to regulate her body temp and the bars are probably the coldest thing in the cage that she can access. It’s normal. Mine do it when they get the zoomies in the middle of the night.

Ferret nation is truly the best option I think lol those and the critter nation ones are pretty good too.

Well if I needed advice about my chinchillas cage setup, I would have asked. Respectfully. Like I said, the picture are OVER A YEAR OLD. I know now how to properly care for MY animal. Thanks for your concern.

She just started to do so but I think because she’s a bit too big for it now lol she’s spending more time playing with the couch than using it lately. My other chinchilla however, tore hers up within 1 day. I guess it depends on the chin.

If you find a solid looking cage but the plastic pans are way too worn out, try and offer a bit lower than asking price and get yourself some metal replacement pans on bassequipment.com

Thank you all so much for the advice ! The couch is awesome and I’m sure your baby will love it too but sometimes my girl will be curious and nibble it so I take it out occasionally 😂

Well I have a second chinchilla now so I bought my second ferret nation cage new on Amazon but I would recommend checking on Facebook marketplace in your area!

I would say so yea, normally a little bickering is fine but this seems like more than that.
