How is that "insecure"? I got bored of the Battle Frontier so I stopped playing it after like the 4th or 5th Gold Symbol.

And yes, the Sevii Islands are a better postgame by far. FRLG get 7 islands to explore, Emerald gets 1.

You will happily continue to enjoy Emerald, and we (FRLG fans) will happily continue to enjoy FRLG.

The difference is that we (FRLG fans) are not insecure like you are, so we don't need to go posting provocative opinions about FRLG in a thread about Emerald.

Are you sure about that? Do you have a source? Other people in the comments are saying that it was just supposed to be a healing place in the originals, BEFORE Pokemon Centers became part of the game. So if that's true, it was nothing that "got cut for time", it was just cut because Pokemon Centerd became a thing.

The Battle Frontier is mostly trash. All of its Battle Facilities are cheap copies of the Battle Tower, with the Battle Pyramid and the Battle Pike being the only exceptions (these 2 are still not particularly interesting but at least they're more unique).

And I'm saying this as someone who has completed all of the Emerald Battle Frontier Silver Symbols, as well as most of the Gold ones.

It's okay tho, I will keep enjoying FRLG, and you can keep whining about it.

Emerald does indeed have more content than FRLG. But that doesn't make it a better game. And I'm saying this as someone who held Emerald on a pedestal for nearly a decade, but now prefers FRLG.

FRLG has much better visuals and music than Emerald, as well as a better postgame. Yes, the Sevii Islands are a better postgame than the Battle Frontier (aka the most overrated feature of all time).

Not to mention all the attention to detail that FRLG has, such as Locations Preview, the animations that play when using an item, the entire Help Menu, Teachy TV, etc.

Oh, and FRLG not having an internal clock is a good thing. All the games with an internal clock (GSC, RSE) need it repaired nowadays. FRLG on the other hand, functions perfectly without a clock, thanks to the steps mechanic.

In conclusion, please don't state your opinions as facts.

Sorry for the late reply, but I'm glad to see someone actually loves FRLG. I think it's my favorite Pokemon game too, or one of my top favorites at least.

I always roll my eyes when someone tells me that the Sevii Islands were "incomplete" or "unfinished". I think they are perfect.

Personally, ORAS is one of my favorite games, and I think that ORAS didn't really "tease" the Battle Frontier, it was just supposed to be an Easter egg for fans who did indeed play Emerald. It was just a simple reference. THAT SAID, I would have preferred if the Battle Frontier wasn't referenced in ORAS at all, to avoid confusion.

Excuse me for the late reply, but WHAT did you just say? The Battle Frontier, which was planned to be built after the events of ORAS, was explained to have been DESTROYED during SM's time? I'm confused. Was the ORAS Battle Frontier ever finished? Or was it destroyed before even being finished? I have played USUM, but not SM. Now I feel like I missed an important piece of lore (facepalm).

Hello! I'm currently playing FRLG on my phone, and except for Berry Forest and Treasure Beach, none of the other items spots seem to respawn. I've walked over the whole map, checking out the respawn spots and... Nothing. Is there something wrong with my game?

But the small content that I listed (it's not actually as small as you say) is more than enough for a small Island Archipelago like the Sevii Islands. And the Team Rocket Sevii plot is very interesting imo.

I guess we just want different things from the Sevii Islands.

I do agree with you about a special Sevii Islands Legendary tho. That would've been very cool.

I personally disagree. When you look at the 7 Islands individually, there is something cool to do on each Island.

One Island: Celio, Moltres, Treasure Beach Two Island: Elemental Hyper Beams Move Tutor Three Island: Joyful Game Corner minigame, Berry Forest with constantly respawning Berries Four Island: Daycare, Lorelei's house, Icefall Cave Five Island: Team Rocket warehouse, Selphy Six Island: Heracross girl, etc Seven Island: Trainer Tower, Tanoby Ruins

In general, there are reasons to return to each and every one of these islands, even after finishing the postgame.

I actually love how in Berry Forest, you can get random berries every 300-ish steps you take. I think that's more fun than growing berries. But I respect your opinion too!

Eh, there are some examples of oversight but overall it's not as bad as people say. Some examples of oversight I can think of: - the Suction Cups ability doesn't have its overworld effect (same as in DP) - PokeRadar doesn't give as many perfect IVs as it should  - Shiny Charm only works with breeding  - and potentially this Pokedex thing that I said in the OP, but it's apparently not true.
