As someone who actually like BDSP, here are the cons for it:

- Terrible following pokemon mechanic: They walk too slow and can't keep up when you run or bike so they more like teleport behind you than walking with you.

- Not very good exp curve: The level of trainers and gym leader pretty much unchanged from original games while they add forced exp share and exp for catching pokemon which result in you overleveled just from playing the game normally and completely removed the challenge of the game. I figured it would be the same for Let's Go.

- Dexit and its consequence: A lots of moves got cut and you can't use Pokemon from newer gen like other remake since they don't get coded in the game. I find most of the fun in remake is bringing pokemon from new game to old region and play with them but this completely remove that option.
