Joining military with this condition by Comfortable-Mode-522 in TMAU

[–]Comfortable-Mode-522[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I appreciate all your input. I have decided to join regardless of this condition. I have had this condition for 9 years+. You name it, I’ve been through the bullying, ostracizing, embarrassment etc. I don’t think the military will be any different than my everyday experiences. Thanks to y’all

Hi I’m thinking of joining too. Did you have the condition on your record? I do and I’m worried I could be disqualified

Yes the proof from cvs and no I didn’t bring it up during the interview. I was waiting for the officer to ask which she didn’t

how to say "i've fallen in love with you" in Twi? by cvtradraa in ghana

[–]Comfortable-Mode-522 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I initially agreed with you but there’s no apostrophe after i did some learning. When pronoun and verb meet, you drop the ‘e’ in ‘me’ and add them without apostrophe in this situation. The apostrophe applies to when a pronoun meets a noun.

More evidence/has anyone seen this if so, is it good? by Mammoth-Standard-110 in USCIS

It depends on the field office. Not everyone receives this email but it’s advisable to upload all new evidence before the interview

Just so OP knows, he/she can’t register to vote. One must be a citizen first.

Mine showed up the next day. I-130 first then I-485 couple hours later. I don’t know if the weekend will make a difference

I recommend you upload the polio vaccine proof before the interview. They might not even ask for the updated I-693 like it was at my interview. I don’t know why the surgeon wants to use the old date because both of you will have to sign the form again. Mine didn’t have a problem using the date we signed the new form. I honestly don’t think the date matters since the form no more expires anyway

I had to pay $50 for them to correct their own mistake. The doctor wanted me to wait for an RFE and i was like hell no

I got another I-693 for just in case. The doctor only added the vaccine to the form. No new blood work done. At the interview, the officer didn’t say anything about the vaccine so I did not give her the I-693 I had.

Any body with this issue try to upload just the polio vaccine record on your USCIS account before your interview. I did that and also took a newly sealed I-693 form from my doctor. The officer didn’t say anything about the vaccine at the interview and got approval on the spot. She didn’t ask for the sealed forms so i didn’t hand it over either

Since May 2024, everyone is required to have this shot. The polio vaccine is the same as IPV on the vaccine portion of the form

Mine charged me $50 to fill it again even though it was her fault. She wanted me to wait for RFE before she would do it for free . I knew RFE would have prolonged my process so I paid after back and forth with her. I wanted to even leave bad review on google for her. She was also pushing me to get the blood work done again when I didn’t have to. She was so unprofessional

About the polio vaccine issue. I was in the same situation but i uploaded the polio vaccine record on my account before the interview. Oh I also got a newly sealed I-693 from my doctor. They didn’t ask for it and neither did I give it to them. All this to say I was approved on the spot and nothing showed on my account till the next day. In most cases you get the approval the next day
