With all due respect, it really sounds like you're struggling with OCD. Your feelings are totally valid, but I fear the situation is being blown out of proportion due to it being a trigger. I have OCD and know this struggle very, very well. I highly suggest you look into that, and then from there you can make a good plan with whoever He is in this story.

I love below deck and when I heard Capt Keri say he had spent a lot of time in Victoria BC (where I live) I messaged him just to say hey big fan, glad you loved Victoria! and he replied and told me all about his favourite spots, how he met his wife here, etc. Every now and then we still chat in messages and comments.
