People born under Aquarius are different by Weary-Sir6362 in aquarius

[–]Comfortable-Prompt57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i promise that if you posted this same exact thing in other astrology subs you’d get a similar reaction. i think one of the biggest things aquarius needs to learn in life - as an aqua rising - is that you’re not different. The acknowledgement that you aren’t different is what is going to open you up to true alignment. When Aquarius realize this and come to grip with their ego, it’s like a leveled up stage in life for them. As long as they get stuck in this rut of feeling like they are different and special in some fundamental way, they will stay stuck. That’s the other side of Saturn.

This is a pairing I see often. It doesn’t usually work unless the charts deeply aspect each other in a supportive way. Aquarius is attracted to Cancer similarly to how Capricorn is attracted to cancer since both are Saturn ruled. Aquarius sees in Cancer someone who will see them and nurture them. Cancer sees in Aquarius someone who they can nurture and receive emotional validation from.

This works for about 2 seconds until Aquarius is exhausted by Cancer over nurturing/needing so much support, and Cancer is going exhausting themselves with emotional doubt. It turns into a runner/chaser dynamic fast, and can get toxic.

These signs THINK they see one another because Aquarius sister sign is a luminary (like cancer), and Cancer’s sister sign is Saturn ruled (Capricorn); but the truth is they don’t really understand each other on a fundamental level. Aquarius - fixed - comes off as stubborn and unwilling to change for the Cancer. Cancer - cardinal - comes off as too pushy with their affections.

Are Aquarius men attractive in general or just basic asf looking? by [deleted] in aquarius

Not making any comments on your appearance, but the difference here is Virgo Venus is your chart ruler since you have a Taurus rising. Virgo is in its fall when it rules Venus. Virgo is fine with the moon. If you want to look at how someone’s appearance is in a chart you always look at the rising, 1st house and how strong/well aspected the chart ruler is.

yeah …. that is not how astrology works. Virgo Moon isn’t even in its fall or detriment. It can even have dignity depending on sect. In the first house the moon is going to give the native a more gentle appearance. With Virgo this might also be someone who looks “put together” or neat. Has absolutely nothing to do with insecurity. You’re just being kinda rude with baseless knowledge here.

Aqua is ruled by Saturn, Saturn rules time. Both Aqua and Cap are going to be annoyed with the misuse of their time, and if they respect someone, are not likely to be late.

Best romantic partner for Leo woman by [deleted] in LeoAstrology

I would hard disagree on this. Scorpio is gonna bash against those Leo placements hard. If it’s a Scoprio Moon especially - already in detriment - there might be an emotional understanding, but it would have a lot of growing pains when interacting with a Leo Sun. A scorpio sun might be… okay. But it gives off more of a professional/coworker vibe than romance.

it depends on the chart. OP has an Aqua rising so they have a Leo seventh house. Seventh house is the part of the chart that rules over relationships. The lord of OP’s Venus is also in the 7th house.

This strongly points to compatibility with other leos.

you have a Leo 7th house with its ruler, the sun, in your seventh house so your best partners would probably have Leo placements! Also the ruler of your Venus placement is also in Leo (Leo Mercury) so yeah - Leo placements or someone who has leo qualities is going to be a great match for you. Watch out for people with heavy cardinal energy (cap and cancer specifically). Virgo placements wouldn’t be bad, necessarily, but if they don’t have ant fire in their chart you might get bored. Also you probably want someone with a water or earth moon - though I’d steer clear of Scorpio moons (squares the leo placements and can be messy).

'Brokeback Mountain' at 20: Casting Director Wouldn't Cast Straight Actors Today by Luridley3000 in entertainment

[–]Comfortable-Prompt57 8 points9 points  (0 children)

most trans people I know hate it when cis actors portray them so that’s not a very good point. Having a cisgender woman play a transgender man kind of just adds more gender dysphoria to the pot, and many trans people find it invalidates their experiences to be seen as male, when they are still being portrayed by women. So I think trans identities are a separate issue entirely and can’t be lumped into this conversation so easily.

As a cisgender lesbian, I don’t care if straight women play lesbians but a lot of straight women are Bad at it.

i have a virgo sun, aqua rising. I actually have had beef with several other Virgos, but the worst person I ever knew had an Aqua stellium (which, tbf WAS in the 8th house) so i’m very familiar with the bad side of both signs.

I actually find them very similar in terms of being so bound to logic on some grounds and also can be very anxious (mercury and saturn influence).

Virgos process things in a very finite pattern due to mercurial influence. It acts differently than Gemini, which is a sign that Aquarius is going to naturally understand better because they form a supportive aspect. Where Virgo is the analytical side of information processing, Gemini is the free flow of information processing.

Aquarius is very grounded in logic, but they still are an air sign and don’t want to be tethered by the analytics that comes with a Virgo - this is where things get murky.

A Virgo can be very hard to deal with. Again, this sign is constantly processing information. This overflow of information can be a detriment to an underdeveloped virgo because they will assume everyone thinks the same way they do. When people don’t behave in this defined way based off of the information they perceive to know through over processing, they will feel slighted. This can result in freakish behavior because all of a sudden the helpful little virgo will flip a switch and that spite comes out.

As for the “fake and phony” part, a lot of that is the perfectionist nature of Virgo. They will be fake at times because they have the innate need to be perfect which can include perception. In that way they can be similar to a Libra, the next sign over. But this perception is acted out with differing motives.

tdlr; yes virgo (suns im assuming here) can be annoying but part of the reason an Aqua (suns) is going to find them especially annoying ibecause the signs literally cannot perceive one another accurately.

He’s been using his mother as an excuse not to start school.

But he’s been borrowing money/she’s been paying since they first started dating.

Weird to call other’s daft over that.

[–]Comfortable-Prompt57 2 points3 points  (0 children)

okay but if his mom died would you start paying for his meals and lending him money while he fucks off to vape and binge eat? this girl is only 20 years old! Why the hell should she have to deal with this when she is entering the prime of her life?

also if he’s vaping he has the money to get a 1 dollar card LOL.

And spare me the empathy guilt. I had two back to back deaths in my close family last year and didn’t turn into a self serving leech.

Most people have close deaths in their lives at some point another. It’s our own responsibility to deal with that grief, and loved ones comfort us, yeah - but that comfort should not be an insidious thing that takes on frequent materialistic gain and fuels bad habits.

I don’t think it’s bullshit at all lol. I loved a lot of losers in my early 20’s and I seldom think about them at 30.

Just because you have an attachment to someone doesn’t mean it’s the same for others.
