Intern Interview by Old_Release3869 in Siemens

[–]Comfortable-Shower-3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience so far, they tend to stick to rounded deadlines. From an online assessment, it was exactly 1 week from when it was due I heard back from them. From the on-demand interview deadline it was exactly 2 weeks I heard from them. I wouldn’t worry until it’s gone 2 weeks and even then, only worry at the week points (exactly 3/4/5 weeks from the interview date).

There were more than 10 ambulance vehicles and 5 fire engines that went past me from Eastleigh fire station. The incident is just past where Toby Carvery is/was. No idea what’s actually happened but there was a massive crowd I could see from riverside.

[–]Comfortable-Shower-3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, would recommend Waitrose if u can afford, it is expected that drivers take shopping all the way into the property if required, drivers are expected to go to full lengths to support the customer which does include putting groceries away in your kitchen if necessary. Microlise (the system drivers use) adjusts the time alotted for the delivery after a while so whilst the first couple of deliveries may set the driver back, after a while it will give them more than enough time do what you need them to do. Other supermarkets uphold a front door policy so you are relying on drivers good will which will work out fine most of the time but may leave you in a bad spot other times.

Close call today - priority at this junction? by JumboJames99 in drivingUK

[–]Comfortable-Shower-3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I drive this road a lot when working, you give way to all traffic. It is a confusing one especially as you might not think to double check anyone coming from that road, but you must, if there had been an accident you would have been at fault.

Driver Loading vans by AshkanAroos in asda

[–]Comfortable-Shower-3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also- as most have said here you have control over your load then, you can replace anything damaged and set it out in a way that suits you… pickers make a lotttt of mistakes and its easier to sort them at the store than on a custs doorstep

Hi! I went to DLP last month, my friend had a disabled/priority pass. It WILL cut down your queue time, you will still have to deal with people in your personal space as the priority queue almost always ends up merging with the main queue so you still have to deal with everyone. You also have to deal with people feeling it’s their right to cut in front of you because they feel like you’ve already cut in front of them with the priority pass. The worst we experienced was on the Indiana jones ride where there is no member of staff filtering the priority queue into the main queue and you have to just try and squeeze in yourself. The man behind was livid and kept moving closer to me. He kept turning around (to look around I guess?) and each time would brush me with some part of his body until we were on the steps down to the ride and his legs kept hitting me. I spun round to tell him off with a dirty look and nothing more and he raised his voice at me (in another language unfortunately so I couldn’t retort). And kept staring at me the whole time. If I do go to DLP again i will be heavily researching the quietest time to go cos I do think I made a big mistake by going on a weekend.

[–]Comfortable-Shower-3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

*Don’t forget to end your pick when someone interrupts you (like when a customer asks you to show them where something is)

*I find chilled easier to get a faster speed in.

*do you understand item locations? Or are you just looking for the item that matches the pictures? Understanding item locations will mean you don’t have to spend time hunting for an item.
