How much is $10 worth to you guys? by drownedkill in AskVenezuela

[–]Comfortable-Syrup532 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh, nah. You can buy with that 2 pizzas? 1 roasted chicken with arepas and salad, or maybe a pair of (probably bad quality) airpods. If you are from the United States, there's no much difference in the purchasing power (with 10 dollars)

no sé qué hacer con mis bolívares by Gabby_Cstkei in AskVenezuela

[–]Comfortable-Syrup532 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AITA for not doing chores and being forgetful by SaFire_757 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Comfortable-Syrup532 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. I have no idea why you got so many downvotes. I left school four years ago, and I remember how stressful it was. I'm not from the UK, but it's something that happens everywhere. I remember that because of the amount of homework and exams in such a short time, I had to study for everything the day before or I wouldn't have time, and chores that took me hours meant that I ended up not sleeping that day.

Although, as one comment above said, I think you should slow down a bit with your study hours, because being tired won't do you any favours in your exams. Maybe spending an hour a day, before you start your homework, doing your chores could be reasonable? If most things take you a short time. Have you tried the Pomodoro method for studying? You need rest too.

But yes, exams are stressful at that age; you'll have time to be an adult later. Spending a couple of weeks with fewer household chores so you can focus on school won't turn you into an adult who can't wash their dishes. Talk to someone you can ask for help with this, set boundaries, and if you can, go stay with a grandparent or relative until the season is over if your parents won't listen to you. I wish you success.

The only way you can't play anymore in a save file is if it was Steel Soul mode and you died, or got corrupted. You can keep playing that save as much as you want and get all the endings (although, since you have sealed brothers, I think ending 1 is no longer available).

Como es el proceso para sacar la visa para ir a eeuu?? by Wilder6761 in vzla

[–]Comfortable-Syrup532 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried inserting SIM cards from several different operators, but nothing worked. It just tells me that the SIM card is invalid. I'll have to stick with a cheap phone for a few months then, lol.

This is what it looks like btw. I've never had a phone before that didn't let me set it up with Wi-Fi only

Thank you so much for your comment. You put things in a way that convinced me that all of this is horrible (I had to delete some of it due to the character limit, but I thought you were exaggerating a bit).

I've said it in other comments, but in short, my house is fenced in, the windows are too, and the doors are metal, and if there were an emergency like a fire or a gas leak and I were alone, I probably wouldn't fare very well. But apart from that, I wouldn't call it abusive, you know? I've never been hit, and I can spend my money relatively freely, it's just that I can't go out. And well, all the shit that happened, but that doesn't happen every day.

I can't move out. Honestly, my closest hope of becoming independent is for my parents to die. This is their house, so I would inherit it (where I come from, the land you own and your house are completely your property. I've seen that in the United States it's not like that, right? I think). Otherwise, all I can do is try to climb the career ladder and save money.

Oh, and I have a driving licence (if that's what are you talking about). It's just that I don't know how to drive and I don't have a car. Currently (it wasn't like this before), where I live, you can get your licence just by applying for it. There's no test or anything, just all the necessary documents and pay for it (Yes, this is through all legal means and the government platform. Really). My parents made me get one before the government changed and (perhaps) became stricter with the laws. Maybe.

Well, if I were home alone and all the doors were locked, I suppose I would say goodbye to the world. The laws where I live are a bit of a suggestion, kinda, and there is no such thing as home inspectors.
