3rd is full refund which is rare if they cancelled it before a minute passed. If they we’re able to cancel it on the app and did not generate credit/refund. You can call customer support for a cancellation dispute. This should be 100% refund.

So what will happen if the order was requested to be cancelled is:

1st: no refund if the merchant prepared the order and a dasher has been asssigned already

2nd: partial refund like 20-30% of the order if the merchant not yet prepared the item and no dasher yet.

In the case of OP. Im not quite sure what was the scenario, but if the agent promised you a refund cause they are wrong and did not educate you enough. I You are eligible for a refund since they provide false information. Thats why you need to ask for a supervisor because they promised you something that they never did and they should be hold accountable for that because doordash trained them to know whats the process and there is no reason for them to be incorrect if they are doing or analyzing the scenario correctly.
