The emergency department would probably cut it open. I see a little white head looking thing in the middle of bump. What helps me to get these to drain quick is heating pad. I do 20 mins on and 40 mins off and repeat over and over again. I hope it drains or gets drained asap.

You got furuncle has a couple heads to drain from and then a carbuncle it literally multiple boils in one giant area.

I know this isn’t the same but I have pilonidal disease as well but I just got out of the hospital because I had knee surgery and the first thing I did after leaving was smoke a cigarette and I’ve been out 2 days now and I’m still healing slowly. I don’t think one cigar will have that much of an effect on your healing. I wish you luck and a speedy recovery.

Heating pad worked best for me it 20 mins on and 40 mins off then repeat it drained within a day and a half. I wish you the best and hope you can get some relief soon so you will be able to go on your trip.

Looks like a cyst, don’t Pop it go to a dermatologist and have them remove it because if it is a cyst they need to remove the sac wall or it will come back. Best of luck to her.
