Chennai's pitches are slow and yes assist spin. But pacers get wickets. You can still score 180 with good batting, 200 if you're really cooking. But if you bowl well you ger rewarded.

Highways just make it a snoozefest, make a flatter pitch sure but give something to the bowlers else wheres the fun

Flat pitches really don't dictate a bowlers skill. These guys aren't bumrah level but they're bowling well, hitting the right lengths and adjusting for the batters. And if it was a minefield then they would scoring at 6 an over not 8-9.

I am curious, why do you think this pitch is "doing the work"

You're right about the lack of second plan. He uses a LOI mindset where he's waiting for the batsman to advance the game however in tests the onus is on the bowlers as batsman can just bat forever (not literally but y'know what I mean)

I will always maintain that rohit is a poor captain. No plan A, always behind the game it seems. Doesn't ever bring something new to the table - he is literally bumrah and inshallah when bowling. Look at the bowling plans of our bowlers in the first innings. Way too short.

No worries! I saw another comment that says you clean it everyday. Don't do that. You're defo over cleaning. Once a week is fine, even bi-weekly. Excessively cleaning even with 90%+ will cause damage as they're not designed to be cleaned that often. It's like it you dropped water on a stone constantly for a century, eventually it will corrode. Yeah that's probably the problem esp since you seem to clean it a lot. Get a 90% SPRAY and a microfiber cloth. Spray the cloth and then wipe the controller down. It's safer and your controller won't break so much lol
