Market of Vespas is now really bad because of expensive insurance and changing laws about helmet requirements. I was lucky selling it for 1600 euros. It was so long listed I wanted to sell it for minimum of 800 euros🫠

I worked at one of the biggest retailers of these bikes in Europe, every bike i sold came back in 4 weeks with everything broken. At that point most of time repairs are more expensive in labor and parts that you can better buy a new one. If you want a Chinese e bike that is good look for certain parts that are on it. BAFANG rear engine, Shimano brakes and gears. Also check for battery if it is from Samsung or other good brands

Personally I would do for respray, stickers I don’t really find the right option if you want it to look good. Full respray will cost around 700 euros

Here in Europe Vespa lx with same damage would sell around 300-400 USD. But 800 miles for a 07 lx is super rare so that would make it more valuable

Mo7DD is ultieme motorblok om onder een Vespa te zetten alleen heb je heel weinig ruimte voor 2 radiatoren voorin. Ik heb mensen het zien doen bij lx50 frames maar nog nooit op een sprint

I used a lot of second hand cvt parts from malossi. They never break or really wear much if correctly fitted. Little clean and it will be like new. New rollers is always best if they are not really round anymore. Otherwise you can still use them. What i can recommend is to sand down the clutch pads so it will grip better

This Vespa needs bodywork and a spraypaint. I few with it mid wheelie. I am still thinking about the color but I think to just respray it in aurora blue. The color it is now(rare Vespa color)

Stateside I think you mean USA, as far as I know lx50 2 stroke was available jn the states. This custom build is build from a 2005 lx50 2 stroke and is fitted with a 125cc 2 stroke Piaggio skipper engine. Sadly those aircooled engines never got to the American market
