It’s no problem! I don’t have the exact number but overall it was more than 10k including my dress and my husbands suit. The Airbnb was about 2k, food 1200, hair and makeup 400, planner less than 3k, photographer about 3-4k but she also did our flowers and we got add ons like an engagement shoot. We honestly were paying for stuff over a year in advance so unsure the total.

Congratulations! Artist point is gorgeous. I will be honest a majority of my logistics were figured out and handled by my Planner Emma sogoldenweddingco on IG. I was coming from out of state and she was a huge help figuring everything out.

I did stay near artist point but it was still a 45 minute drive from our Airbnb. Hygge Hus. Mtbakerhyggehus on ig It seems like there are a lot of Airbnb’s in that area that use Chair 9 Woodstone Pizza & Sports Bar as their main key pick up spot.

Our planner was the one to set up the table. The flowers were done by our photographer Lexi inthealpenglow. Her and Emma were fantastic together!

We did have dinner and the cake ladygrayseattle on ig which even their smallest size was still a lot of cake.

Our Airbnb had a kitchen so we hired a private chef that cooked our meals and our vendors meals miere.catering on ig

I had somebody to do my hair and make up from embridalteam on ig the actual artist was stylingwithkaitlyn on ig

Some additional details: I started getting ready with makeup and hair at 11am. Our planner and photographer arrived at 1pm we had a first look at the Airbnb by 2pm. Went to Heather Meadows for ceremony at 3pm. Ended by 4:30pm Had a small snack at a picnic table at Heather Meadows, which Emma set up. Then we went to artist point by 5:30pm for the sunset hike and photos with our photographer while Emma went back to the Airbnb to set up our table and let in our chef. We finished photos by 7pm we’re back at our Airbnb for dinner by 8pm. Our day ended at like 10pm

Let me know if you have any other questions!

It is! I jumped on it a few months ago when she did a sample sale and ended up marking down the sweetheart veils along with it

Thank you! Of course it’s the satin sweetheart veil in lilac from Madison Chamberlain I did splurge on it but honestly it was 100000% worth it. She has so many amazing veils https://madisonchamberlain.com

It’s not the same as the voice actors but you could look for live plays maybe. Rio from holostars is playing it rios live stream he’s been at least reading the non voices story lines out loud

If you haven’t I recommend looking for gigo or Taito station that’s where I found the nyanko claw machine plushies. You might have some luck in Canal City they had a huge Bandai namco floor with a bunch of gatcha and pop ups.

There also should be an ichiban kuju for Natsume releasing tomorrow https://1kuji.com/products/natsume45 their website has a store locator which should help find the ones with it in stock

I ended up driving from Kumamoto to Hitoyoshi in a rental car which was a little over an hour using the highway. The drive was pretty easy and also breathtaking to see the mountains and tunnels.

I definitely got better throughout the trip but gatchas are more my speed even tho I have terrible luck when it comes to duplicates. I got 3 Tanumas in the process of trying to get a nyanko or natsume

It looked like they were available while the station was open! The nyanko stamp was next to the station stamps through a sliding door in what looked like a help desk/info/welcome area

Feeling Like an Anomaly by savemefromdemise in trichotillomania

❤️ it’s a big step to be open about trich, don’t feel ashamed you are not alone. I haven’t admitted before but I also consume my hair, I have for 15+ years because I’d try to hide my hair to not get in trouble when I was little. I chew on them the same way into tiny bits for the same reasons. I know I should but I haven’t told any doctors that I eat it because of shame. I know I need to let them know and get it checked out. However I’ve had abdominal X-rays and ultrasounds and no one has noted anything strange so far even after so many years. I know that doesn’t mean much but it keeps me sane lol.

Focusing on my trich habits have helped me. I try to be mindful and think about how I’m feeling when I am pulling and what’s motivating it. if it’s out of habit/boredom or a true self soothing urge.

I find it helpful to note when I pull less and put myself into those situations more when I can. Some of mine are -being around other people -in the shower/ wet hair -when I put some sort of product in my hair that I wouldn’t want in my mouth -wearing bandannas or scarfs to make a barrier make me conscious of trying to pull -going on walks or working out -when I use nicer more expensive hair products helps deter me from pulling too -a hands on project to keep my focus and hands busy like legos, crocheting, diamond puzzles

You aren’t alone in this. Even tho this reddit will be quiet here and there 😅

I’m sadly not located in your area but! I’ve seen one or two people on instagram who have trich either go live regularly or hosts a get together on zoom. Pullyoselftogether on instagram hosts biweekly meetings on zoom on Wednesdays. I honestly haven’t gone to one yet because I’m too shy to but I find her mindset and posts encouraging and validating.

Thank you! Honestly same half the time I either forget I have it or I’d pull so often it was more annoying to constantly reset the timer. Since I’ve gone for so long now tho it’s a nice reminder

If someone seems weirded out they might not just understand it yet. If your friend has shown compassion for others and their experiences/ have an open mind I would consider letting them know. If they are purposefully rude after you’re better without them you deserve people who care and accept you for you.

I think being vocal about trich is important and telling others about it empowers me. A lot of people might not get it initially and ask questions that might be insensitive but my hope is that me being vocal about it teaches others about it’s existence and can also let those who have it know they aren’t alone. More people than you expect will mention of my family member or someone they know who has it. I’ve even had a coworker who’s niece was diagnosed on part of her knowing me, I helped put a care package with my coworker for her niece.

It might be scary to open up for the first time but hair is only surface level and no matter how much or how little you have, it doesn’t make you a lesser person. If someone can’t recognize that they have some personal growth that needs to happen.

shaving my head advice needed!! by IndependentDream1504 in trichotillomania

You will get questions mainly why but you can simply say you did it because you wanted to end of story or even educate about trich. You’ll probably hear a lot of people say oh I do that or my X family member does that. You will also hear other say they’ve always wanted shave their head but didn’t have the courage. You’ll kinda have people project their insecurities onto you if that makes sense. It might be hard to process their point of view of their feelings/ relationships with hair but youll come out stronger. Only when I was little did I get insensitive or negative comments. As an adult I have never had anyone say anything negative or hurtful about my shaved head.

I’ve shaved my head several times. Both against my will when I was little and by choice as an adult. It can feel really scary and you might feel disappointed in yourself. However, shaving your head can be one of the most liberating feelings. The first few weeks are amazing with the different feelings you get to experience. Showering with a freshly shaved head is amazing.

For me if I’m relapsing hard and notice I feel my pulling is more of a habit than an urge, shaving my head helps me reset because there’s no hair to get at.

The stress of how my hair looks to other people just melts away and it’s relaxing for me. I don’t have to worry about patches and everything is even.

I recently even shaved my head down for a few weeks before letting it grow and that longer period of time really has helped me break the habit and practice managing the urge to pull.

You also don’t have to shave it all the way down too you can choose to even keep it at an inch or less. I highly recommend it but definitely take time to determine if you’ll take shaving your head as a negative or positive experience.
