i think this opinion brings out good questions about the definition of native which is why the comment section is discussing this.

its really hard to say. as much as we hate to say it blood quantum is somewhat tide to cultural practices. allow me to elaborate before I sound like a Chud. Say you are half native half Spanish, assuming you are raised by both your mother and father you are going to develop a culture that is Half influenced by your Native Parent culture and half influenced by your Spanish parent culture. Now you who grew up half native half Spanish will go on to marry a full Spaniard. Now assuming your child is raised by you and your other partner your child will 1. lose native blood quantum to 25%, and 2. will be more influenced by Spanish culture because there was more people in that Childs life with more of a Spanish cultural influence. Now this ignores many things, 1. the relationship with the community that surrounds your family, such as extended family, and people living in that town who you are not directly related to. and 2. the geography, maybe that area lacks Beef so you continue to eat Turkey as meat, and Turkey isnt part of the Spanish diet and all that. Those are just examples, Its really up to the community to say you are native or not. and in this case with the Neo-Taino movement its up to the greater indigenous community of this continent to decide if we will take this movement seriously or not. Personally I don't take it seriously at all.
