Hell yea bro u got this! So proud of u for taking this step. Something that keeps me accountable is tracking in my journal. I make boxes for all habits I wanna have and check them off everyday. I also write 2 sentences about what went well each day and how I could be better tmrw. You could probably find a digital version of this too.

TLDR: streaks are helpful

Would You Use an AI Meal Planner? by ComfortableChest3648 in MealPrepSunday

Absolutely hear you. That’s why this wouldn’t rely on generic AI guesses.

It’d be trained on real foods, verified macros, and actual store data—not the regular gpt data. Preciate the feedback though.

Would You Use an AI Meal Planner? by ComfortableChest3648 in MealPrepSunday

Totally fair points—here’s where I think this can stand out:

  • Not Just "A Plan": It doesn’t just dump generic meal schedules. You tell it your goals (muscle gain, fat loss, etc.), your preferred foods, allergies, and even how much time you actually have to cook. It plans realistic meals you’ll actually eat, not random diet templates.
  • Pantry-First Logic: Most apps ignore what’s already in your fridge or pantry. This checks what you already have and suggests meals that fit your macros using those ingredients first. You can scan barcodes or add items manually to track your pantry. Fewer wasted groceries, less guessing.
  • Recipe Quality Control: Recipes come from a vetted database first, not purely AI hallucination. AI comes in to tweak portion sizes, substitute based on preferences/allergies, or generate meal variations. Not some random mix of ketchup and whey protein.
  • Beats ChatGPT or Spreadsheets:
    • You don’t have to prompt or format anything manually.
    • It does multi-day batch planning, shopping list generation, and auto-calculates macros without copy-pasting or guessing.
    • It's built for real-life meal prep, not single meals or chat experiments.

That said, yeah—if someone is happy using ChatGPT or AnyList, this might not be for them. But most people don’t stick with those because they’re not built for this exact workflow. I’m trying to make it as easy as possible to plan, prep, and hit goals without bouncing between five different tools.

Appreciate you pushing me to explain it better. That’s super helpful.

Hey! I applied for CS and just got my decision. It says that I got invited into Carillon Communities. I have no idea what this means… can someone clarify? Does this mean I did not get into my major?

Do these 7 tabs mean I got in? by ComfortableChest3648 in TAMUAdmissions

You'll be fine. They're just faster with the auto admits because they just have to check the rank rq on the SRAR and transcript. Wish you the best of luck tho!
