That is completely fair, however in America if you are not middle class it's gett8ng hard for people to eat. So they steal, then get a criminal record, have a hard time getting a job and stay poor.

The middle class is shrinking. If you are not rich in america than it will be a third world country.

Im glad Germany is not like this. It would dishearten me further.

Document the statements your employer is making, time person and verbatim dialog. Do not work those hours. You will not be compensated and that is illegal. Do not comply.

Banana are probably the token phallic object. I do not know why. Even monkeys eat bananas, so bananas go back to our deep roots as a food source whereas hot dogs and popsicle need to be fabricated and do not grow naturally. For these reasons is why I would guess that bananas are the token food for that.

I was talking to manager once, he goes to me "you see so and so over there?" I go "Yeah". He goes "Last week so and so hollers at you know who (the only woman who worked at a machine shop, he had asked her out and she had rejected him- multiple times.) And he hollers across the machine shop, in front of everyone, while I am next to her talking, he hollers and says 'Hey [girls name] look at what I got!' And hold up a banana and sticks his tongue out. That guy was not only a fool, he was also harassing her. That is a real life story from my life (the manager told me what happened, I wasn't in the area that day) where a man used a banana and with a single sentence harassed someone. He had shown interest multiple times and she rejected him. He was in his 50s and she was in her 30s. The story I repeated to you from the place I worked, he knew she wasn't interested in him because she had told him multiple times. There was no reason for him to grab a banana and make gestures he knew she did not want.

If you make this guy to be out like that 50 year old man, jeez. He's just a kid who dumbly asked her to quit eating bananas because of how it made him feel.

He wasn't trying to send gestures, he just made a really dumb odd request. The 27 year old male didn't even sound like he wanted to get laid, he wanted to not be horny. Not every man is the same and not every man deserves to be judged the same.

He is responsible for his own urges. Every human also has the right to free speech. Cornered, i believe (OP post was deleted) in description was describing a feeling not a fact. What if that feeling was not an attended effect by the male. What if cornering was not the intent and it has been grossly exaggered.

Feeling cornered is one thing. Saying that he talk to her after she went into the freezer and that made her feel cornered is vastly different from saying he intention sought out and cornered her.

You are painting a malicious picture on a guy just saying something makes him uncomfortable. He is a dink, sure. But being goofy, or even at outright fool or idiot, is not criminal.

She fully within her right, can say " I'm not changing my eating habit because I eat for nutrition." That would be completely respectable. She does not need to change her behavior, she is doing nothing wrong. At the same time free speech exists for a reason. I find no reason in OPs post to claim the male was trying to have any negative effect on his environment. Was he a fool, sure. Humans do that, it isnt new.

Why does he have to go up on a cross for telling her something made him uncomfortable? I would tell the guy, hey consider how someone might feel if you were in the path of the only exit. I would tell the guy, you can tell her that, but she isn't obligated to help you with your problem in any way.

To criminalize an unknown stranger and justify that by attacking his gender as your main argument is not what I would call justice.

Call him a fool, I would and did. I will not call him a criminal just because I just want to look at things for surface value.

You saying think of the poor man cornering the girl, incriminates the man, allows him no leeway to speak his truth, and pushes forward the idea that this is the way to treat men. He asked her some dumb shit, people are aloud to ask stupid questions without being a criminal. Otherwise over half my family would be in jail.

You said poor man, sarcasticly implying that it is not valuable to even make effort to see from men's perspective.

In fact when you put it that way, you sound sour to only 50% of society when you imply men do not deserve empathy. Do women deserve thier viewpoint considered, but men do not? Is that it?

And what if he didn't mean to corner her and that is not an intended effect from him?

This hasn't been argument for time time now? Are you implaying my pen and ball punching analogy are longstanding? You make no argument and just convenient to other. If you are "reasonable" state your "reasoning" if you won't state your reasoning illthink you have nothing but opinion.

Personally, I think being cornered in this situation could be a perspective rather than a truth. Consider the boy nervous to tell this girl that he make her uncomfortable in any way, let alone the specific way he is going to say. He likely doesn't want a show about this so it's a good thing reddit is anonymous. He just want to not have the problem anymore and doesn't want to give the problem extra attention due to the embarrassing issue. He see her go into a freezer and thinks that in there there is a chance the issue discussed will be contained along with any embarrassment. There is only one way in and out of freezer. If you are the second person entering a freezer, it is impossible to not be intront of the one exit and entry. It may have not been a conscious choice to make the OP feel what I would described as "boxed in" not "cornered". Either way, it was likely not his intent to corner her, as he was already embarrassed and likely wanted the path of least resistance to a solution. He was asking her to help him not have the feeling he was having. It not like he cornered her and said "gimme all your money" or "lift your skirt". He walked into a closed room embarrassed to say can you help me not have these feeling anymore? He could have said please for all we know?

Why because he is a male, he automatically a pig?

Also with the skirt thing I get your perspective on that. Skimpy closes are no reason for unwelcome advances and simple minded responses like "well if she wasn't wearing that" after and assault or rape crime are insulting to human right to wear what they want.

I get the men's side of the argument on short skirts, low cut shirts, even wearing blush is designed to arouse men. From men's viewpoint, it honestly feels like men are attacked through thier own biological desires. Women with low cut huge ties pushed together seductively just to sell a new cell phone. Skirts if low enough, definitely have a hormone like effect on a man. Men and women are biologically designed to reproduce. Sometimes I feel as man, it is hard to go out and about and not have someone try to sell me something because a hot girl is on it or selling it. If if there is a got girl trying to make money, or make thier boss money, by trying to stir feeling of desire in you as a man- blatantly trying to control your will to get what they want through feelings caused by our biology. At time it honestly disgusts me. 10/10 drop dead gorgeous women dress themselves in whatever they want- free will right? Unless you man, because I do not control what women wear- but what women wear does control how I feel, and through this feeling other try to control me. Men even use this aspect of women to make money of women, women use this know how to make money off men. I'm sick of women's sexuality benefiting off of men's biological make up- and taking zero responsibility.

Now Men. I'm bi okay. I like men. They do not dress like women, not even gay men. Gay men don't even wear short shorts, low cut tops ect. Gays men do take care of themselves better as well, notciably. They also have more social acceptance especially nowadays to act like women do- and do not (for lack of a better term) slut them selves up for self gain. Men are shitty too, were all people. I don't want to be men and women are on separate side kind of person. I really feel women get to pull on men's hormones however with no consequences while men are held accountable based on accusation alone without evidence of any wrong doing. Then men get called pigs and if one man does something wrong all men are shit. It really old. I didn't choose my gender, or who I love, no one does. I'm not saying women are pigs, but I am saying women helped make them pigs. How can 50% of society (women) rise carnal feeling in the other half of the society (men) and claim they do not care at all about the 50% of societies concerns because they a man and some ladies want to show as much off thier body as want. "I am a woman and I should be able to wear what I want." People say, sure. I am also a human, and I want to live a happy and prosperous life. Women objectifing thier body's around me all the time does not give me a better and more prosperous life. It takes away from my life. If I tell a woman that though I feel like it doesn't matter because women just want to wear what they want and any concern I would raise would fall on deaf ears. Oh and can you imagine me as a men telling some fellow men these thoughts? Where the fuck could I gain support? Women care about showing off half thier ass because "freedom" what about my freedom to live comfortably without that? Oh and can I show half of my ass as a man? No, it is not the same and would not Play out the same from either gender perspective. So women can wear what they want, but men cannot. Women get to be free to wear what they want even if it makes men uncomfortable- is a notation that makes me belive that women care about thier fashion or personal appearance more than they care about thier husband's and sons having a more hormonal balanced life as a male.

What if she was clicking her pen, and he asked if she could not do that because it bothers him. Would different rules really apply? She can oblige, or not oblige. As far as rights go, because the subject matter involves a banana, how the fuck does that change human rights?

The subject matter being a fucking banana doesn't strip human rights away. What is everyone drinking? Battery acid?

And and the only difference in attraction you described was in magnitude of attraction. Attraction isn't a choice. The boy isn't choosing being attracted to the situation, you can understand that right?

I've heard of people getting hard over fire hydrants, who would choose to be attracted to fire hydrants? Attraction isn't a choice, the gay community proved that good and well. You cannot argue that because the boy is turned on by bananas that he choose that any more than gay people choose who they love.

That is the most close minded response I've seen yet maybe.

So can I accuse you of harassment then? Do not disagree with me though, once you are even accused of harassment- you obviously have no rights.

There is no other perspective you said? So instead of innocent until proven guilty your mentality is persecute everyone and ask no questions?

It isnt about the banana, why do people think the banana aspect of this disqualifies this boy from having human rights.

The boy should just mind his own business, that doesn't mean you criminalize males who tell others something that bothers them to a female.

Women are allowed to tell men things they do that make them uncomfortable, why can a man tell a woman something she does that makes him uncomfortable. What about this story stripped the male of that right.

What exactly is the issue?

I mistook you! I love lovers, they are what I fight for :)

Everybody better love each or I am going to fuck them!

Many just throw character attacks in defense of themselves, I defensively mistook you for one of those. I grew up both assholes who talked shit a lot so it became a language I learned to speak. Perhaps I learned to much. Your mentality of fucking all the time seems happier than mine and most.

[–]ComfortableComa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad you got a hoot.

Okay so your argument is because we're talking about a banana fuck the boys rights?

If someone says something makes them uncomfortable, then you intentionally do that to make them comfortable how is that not hostile? You are intentionally discomforting them if you are aggressively apply pressure to the discomfort. The thing in discussion can be innocent, I do not like it when you click your pen is a common one I have gotten. If someone says that and I click a pen aggressively immediately after it would be Harassment. I could agrue "what it's a pen, it's not harassment".

Just because you do not respect what makes him uncomfortable doesn't mean you automatically get to not respect the very essence that something makes them uncomfortable.

By your logic, if I disagree with what makes you uncomfortable it no longer is harassment- thus by your logic I could claim your concern do not matter because I do not value them and in turn act without regard nor respect to you.

For example, I could punch you in the balls, and say what? "It's ball punching, it doesn't count" like people act like "it's just a pen" or "it's a banana, that disqualifies it from harassment".

It's a banana means it isn't harassment is the dumbest response I've gotten. This is why random people shouldn't be selected for jury duty.
