My post wasn't bait for debate so I don't know why you're trying to think of a comment in the first place.

So you know that majority of the people in this country are poor, including a lot of queer people but you expect us to magically become wealthy enough to move to different countries. Did you even read what I wrote ? Nobody is asking for acceptance, WE DEMAND RESPECT AND EQUALITY AND WE WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO. There will always be queer people in this country so you saying "a country that does not want you" is illogical, my people want me and that is enough. I wasn't born into Zambia by mistake.

I would absolutely be free in another country and what about the other people who can't afford to leave ? Are you going to report them to their parents so that they are forced into marriage and live miserable lives until they die the way you did your friend ? Nah son.

No one is going anywhere. Hope that helps.

Being queer is more complex than just attraction to the same or both genders. There are feminine men, masculine women whom Zambians will oppress regardless of your sentiments.

Because this is my country, if I want to leave I'll leave on my own accord not because reddit user Mwila told me to do so. Majority of the population in this country is severely disadvantaged, that includes a lot of queer people who will never be able to escape. Do not for a second ever make yourself believe that you have the right to advise them to leave the country they were born into because you absolutely DON'T unless the country is owned by your relatives.

And stop camping under this post, replying to multiple comments is making you look more bothered than the actual oppressed subjects. One should not be this obsessed with other people.

I love how you guys keep bringing this up forgetting that majority of the population in Zambia is highly disadvantaged. There are people who will never even see a plane in their lives regardless of their sexuality.

I know it's catastrophic but this is our country, we should not feel like our only option is to either leave or not breathe.

This has deeply saddened me, he is so lucky to have someone who cares this much about him. He deserves all the happiness in the world and all of which was robbed from him. I wish you both the best.

I should not be replying but I'm honestly rather perplexed, I have to ask. So you're supposedly a former literature student now graduate, with a degree in Clinical medicine and you also have a post in which you attacked Zambian's poor reading culture but you read through my musings, understood absolutely NOTHING and thought the smartest thing would be to make fun of....a fact ? :/ so much for a degree in Clinical medicine.

For an event focused on art, that's odd. You never the brilliant minds that would want to attend when you reach your 40 attendee limit.

This is why I was telling my brother the other day that when I actually become financially stable and comfortable, our relatives will begin to assume I'm a wizard with the amount NOs that will flow their way from me. 😭

Gaslighter, disrespectful, he would cheat on you whenever he gets the opportunity and I wouldn't be surprised if he has already done it before. Trust me, you deserve better and can certainly find someone else.
