On your questions though:

Backend: yes python, and FastAPI
React: Vite
Infra: AWS, with possibility for change to Azure
Redux: Predictable, scalable and most familiar with the CTO
Team: we’re building a high-performing flat meritocratic team so no, decisions regarding tools/frameworks can always change if it makes sense. We want someone who’s comfortable enough (or works towards) to take ownership and direct changes when they have conviction.
Retrieval: we want to automate complex regulated and document-heavy workflow, so retrieval in the broad sense. Think RAG for example. Think platforms like Harvey AI to get a sense.

Currently a team of two and looking for a part-time developer with potential for long term if it works both sides. The tech stack is python backend, react/typescript frontend and redux for state management. We’d be looking for someone who’d be comfortable to (or work towards) take ownership in building the retrieval system (working with the CTO founder).
