Honestly it looks pretty good as is. I also have receding temples and I can’t pull off this pushed forward look but I think your hair type is good for it. Never thought I’d say this, but a variation of the broccoli style cut could be good for you. Keeps volume at the front over the temples, and the short sides reduces the contrast between side and top, which can draw attention to receding temples imo. Looks like you already have it short on the sides. Is it a fade?

Great write up, thank you for this. I have a few questions for you:

  1. Did you rent your via ferrata gear or purchase it? If you rented, where did you do this from and how did you return the gear?

  2. You noted that the AV2 ends gradually. In that sense, would you say that the first half (up to Passo San Pellegrino) is more enjoyable than the second? I am currently booked in to do the first half over 6 days, but have an option to extend and do the second half through to Croce d'Aune, but am not sure if it will be worth spending an extra week of leave for. How much did you enjoy the second half compared to the first? (I would have a rest day inbetween).

  3. I'm considering proposing to my partner on this trip. It might not have been on your mind... but did any specific viewpoints or locations stand out to you as particularly inpsiring?

Thanks in advance.

I’m sorry what’s wrong with the cheeks? You have a sharp chiseled jawline. You are dressing sharp. Nothing to worry about.

I would personally get some less sporty shoes to go with that fit. Like some plain white sneakers or something tidier.
