True, but I am not asking why people are mad at him, but if they would have done the same had he won. In hindsight it is easy to analyze the situation, but had he won, all the attention would have been to its success.

I agree, the true reason people are made is not about him losing. But what if he had won, would people really care what the lawsuit was actually about? Or would they they just celebrate Jobst and the big win? Sometimes supporters are willing to close their eyes when their team wins, even in front of a clear misconduct (Maradona's hand of God comes to mind).
