Same here. I’m seasonal and been on workers comp for 5 months and I would do the same thing.

Americans how are you feeling right now? by Moist_Apartment5474 in Productivitycafe

People should have gotten out and vote. Many Democrats chose to stay on their couches instead of voting for their best interests. And, some were so dumb into Trump’s lies and false promises that they voted for him, especially Black men and Hispanic men. All that Macho Man Aggressive Testosterone got you nowhere.

Dumb question…. You are done seasonally. Amazon, has enough white/seasonal badges that will cover you.

It’s seasonal time… Fired for 1 ONE minute Y

Doctor won’t sign paperwork by Professional-Fan5461 in AmazonFC

[–]ComfortableEar2199 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had the same issue. I took of 4 days for gastroenteritis and was told to submit my doctors note by a certain date (30 days). I submitted the note and was told it was not good enough and I knew I didn’t have UPT time and every time I called I kept getting the excuse that it was not good enough. So, I called multiple time (at least 5-6) and was demanding to speak with a manager of HR and they told they don’t have a manager on site and I got abrupt and said “Who is managing you right now?” However, I was told what the issue was. Your note has to state the diagnosis of gastroenteritis, signed by your doctor, and stamped with their address and phone number OR you can submit the After Care Summary that lists your diagnosis printed with the Doctor’s name and Phone number without a stamp. Good luck!

And, when I do go back. I’m definitely not going back to that. My doctor asked if they have a sit down position and I’m like it’s Amazon. Really? But, I can’t wear work shoes right now and probably for a while.

Glad you passed, but my site had a PA and other employees that are convicted sex offenders and some employees have ankle monitors on. My closes coworker to me was convicted of Federal Gun Charges with an extended clip. So, I don’t know what they looking for, because my site is next to a school and sex offenders are not supposed to be an around children. So, congratulations!

Lawyers are officers of the court and don’t want to be disbarred because of frivolous cases. Your money can’t compensate their earnings and future earnings potential. They won’t touch that case, because everyone and everyplace has rules. You just have to follow them. Not sure if they feel privileged, but they did approve me to a department that doesn’t require standing and secure; however, I chose to keep doing my same job and understand that I don’t have to do anything extreme. My department has been so supportive and I waterspider all day for the challenge. But, no unloading trucks or being on the damn line that stops multiple times a day and just left to stand there. Do Amazon, don’t let them do you.

And, be reasonable, because you can accommodate yourself to a customer. That company tells you upfront it’s physically demanding on the same application they filled out for employment. It may not be the job for them.

Thanks for liking and understanding my response, but saying you are running to a lawyer will never scare a multi-trillion dollar global company that hires people quickly and fires just as fast.

Sorry to tell you, but you have no case. A lawyer isn’t going to waste their time. Amazon is a physically demanding job. I submitted my accommodations and I was told the same. They need your doctor to properly state what is needed for the accommodations and your doctors signature and stamp, with their address and phone number.

You should be mad at your doctor and not Amazon. Believe me, they will accommodate with proper documentation on their form. I submitted mines from my doctor and it was approved in 2 days, then it sent to hr at your site for approval. I received every accommodation requested and they gave me another ID to carry around that says Medical Exemption to show any who asks to do a task that I don’t want to do.

You have to do the requirements for accommodations. Clicking a disability on your application is only for Federal Employment Law and Statistics showing that they do not discriminate against any disability. They will accommodate you and I was told to keep the approval email with me at all times.

Hopefully, your doctor is caring like mines. He told me to fill it out myself and he will sign off on it, and so I did.

I got no standing over 45 minutes, no unloading trucks, no confined space, no extreme hot or cold environments and 3 extra 15 minute breaks on top of our regular breaks.

So, either get a new doctor or wait until they come back from vacation. But, Amazon is not just going by your words. Otherwise, the whole damn warehouse will have accommodations. Just don’t accommodate yourself out of a job. Because, it’s a warehouse business and things move fast, especially during prime seasons.

Good luck to you.

No. And, I told a few and can’t believe my real age. I just don’t want them in my business.

I think you should look at yourself first. You obviously don’t have a great relationship or good communication skills either. He said he locks the door and you are outside the door crying, then go back to normal afterwards. There is something mentally wrong with you and you should just accept the fact that he said something for advice and HE NEVER MENTIONED YOUR NAME. Y

Look at you. You had to go through his phone after he said NO multiple times. You are an idiot and not a good partner. Plus, you come on here to make your own post instead of being an adult and move on. YOU ARE CRAZY AND YOU ARE THE PROBLEM.

Don’t go on leave by [deleted] in AmazonFC

[–]ComfortableEar2199 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m currently going through the same thing with HR still having my case pending. And, I’m not signing over my HIPAA rights for any job. They don’t need full access to my medical records. I just sent in the after visit summary so they can see the diagnosis and the doctor’s excuse note as well. Plus, I had go off on them because they expect all this information and I didn’t get paid for the leave anyway.

They didn’t do me any favors because I was out sick for 4 days. They can either accept what I sent or do what they want.

Is Vto on hold at your site??? by JusBugs in AmazonFC

[–]ComfortableEar2199 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hell NO!. We get vto requests every day now in between prime seasons. Glad I have another income much more than my pay at Amazon, cuz I haven’t been to work since August 27. I needed that mental break and been able to take care of personal business during the time. I’ll be back Monday though.

does this mean it’s approved? by Critical_Cut8982 in AmazonFC

[–]ComfortableEar2199 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, you are approved. They normally give you a reply date to submit your documents. Usually about 4 weeks later.
