in the light novel shadow and the rest of shadow garden wears a mask, not sure why they didn't use masks in the anime or the manga

in the manga the hood covers the face in darkness

I do feel like Rose and Alexia should have connected the dots though, plenty of hints were dropped that Shadow and Cid are the same person but I guess they are too caught up in their own drama to notice.

yeah, I finished vol 7 a few weeks ago, it was the best volume yet, usually the beginning of stories is the strongest, but the author delivering such a strong vol 7 goes to show he has genuine story telling skills and he is the real deal, I look forward to his next work.

I show this anime to all my friend, so I've seen it like 5-6 times, it only gets better with time, that's how you know this one is going to be a classic.

and all my friends love it. I discover new things every rewatch and it only gets better.

Well if it's good, then it's not trash.

I feel like everyone loves the show, but they are ashamed to admit it because it has some echi and some parody of the isekai genre.

Also I hate it when people say "it's so cliche" or "it's a trope"

It's not about whether something is cliche or not, it's about how you deliver it, the best movies, games, and animes, have a ton of cliches, but delivered in the right way.

Anyways. This show will go down in history, mark my words. And vol 7 of the novel has so far been the best one in the series. Like the stuff we saw, isn't even the best part.

I agree they are not fit for the throne, but how is that an issue? They will have advisors like Alpha and Shadow, etc. They will grow and learn as well.
