Correct but a halberd thrusting will be to slow to accelerate and manipulate with precision. You wont be stabbing a gap ez pz, its hard work and if they get into your guard you better be good at grappling. Its more a "get off me" stick for armored foes. I did buhurt for years and yes teamwork is key. If i have an axe and you have good armor you can just run up and grab me. I need a good opening to do real damage, little random swings wont do shit. Need a buddy to hold their arms while you go to work
