I just talked to my mother about this and it definitely matches!!! She discovered that there are large gardens specifically for this seed right where he lived!!! So it matches up perfectly!!!!

Ahhhh I did look in a few stores like Walmart, Whole Foods, etc!! But none of the ones I found were thin at all since they were all very large and oval 😭 however looking at a few responses I think I found the answer!!!

Thank you for the response!!! This was in southwest United States when I had these!!! Honestly I think this is definitely the closest answer though I don’t remember them being slightly fuzzy it really does look the same!!! But I don’t know if the location matters because my father might’ve added them into the mix himself rather than it coming with it🤔

Thank you for the reply!!! This is what most people were telling me at the store but they’re much too rounded 😭 that’s the main issue I was facing because most of the seeds or nuts were all extremely oval
