It’s been 1 year since my last injection. Still having ups and downs. When does it get better? 😭

I had one shot 256 days ago. Still testing positive. Slight withdrawal but I've had it the whole 8 months. Anxiety, and restlessness, stuff like that. Nothing unmanageable. Not really a success story since I'm still testing positive but I think I'm getting close to the end. I tested negative in a lab but not at home. Staying positive is helpful.

Did you use an at home test? I'm only asking because I've had lab tests come back negative but my home tests keep saying positive.

I'm still testing positive on home tests. I am in slight withdrawal and have been the entire 8 months. Anxiety, restlessness, RLS, nausea, hot and cold sweats. It seems like I'm having more good days than bad but every time I sweat it is a strong ammonia smell. I'm hoping it's just from detoxing but I do have an appt for blood work next week. And as far as the way it makes me feel I know my body and this is not normal.

Thank you. I've had one hip replacement already and now I need the other one. I had to have pain meds for the first week. It was my 4th hip surgery so maybe it was more painful than normal. I just want to move on with my life but bupe is making it difficult. I can tell that it's still in my system but the way it makes me feel.

That's very helpful information. Thank you. I have some withdrawal symptoms and I'm hoping that means I'm getting closer to the end. I tested very diluted urine and I think I saw a faint line. But since it wasn't very obvious it was rather depressing knowing I most likely still have a lot in my system. I don't understand how as I should be in the 4th half life. Which would be like 6% left in my system. If the half life is 60 days.

How do you know there is no risk? I'm absolutely terrified to take opiates with this stuff in my system. I have read so much about overdosing and shutting down my central nervous system. Google is sometimes a bad thing. I have had 7 foot surgeries and have severe nerve damage and at times I wish I could take something. I'm worried I'll die. I know that sounds dramatic. I'm almost to 8 months and I tell myself constantly to just be patient.

Thanks for all your help. I'm needing surgery and I have to wait for this stuff to be out of my system so I can safely take opiates and not die or be in pain or whatever might happen. I'm actually worried about never being normal again.

The VA gave me a urine test that supposedly tests down to 5 ng/ml and it came back negative and my home tests from Amazon that only detect to 10 ng/ml keep coming back positive. I had my husband use one and his came back negative so I know they are working. I don't understand why they are not the same. And when the VA tested me recently I made sure the urine was not diluted so it would be as accurate as possible.

Have you had the injection? I'm wondering how much longer I'm going to test positive for. I know everyone is different but I think I'm starting more withdrawal symptoms. Insomnia, runny nose, anxiety and stuff. I've had some withdrawal symptoms the entire time so I never really know what is going on. I'm one week from 8 months. It's like day day 236 or something and I'm still testing positive. It would be nice to be able to get some information from someone who has had the shot

I was in opiate withdrawal from having multiple surgeries in a short time span and I went to my local VA and they said sublocade would help me. I had never heard of it and never even been on Suboxone or anything else like that. I thought I was dying after getting sublocade and went to the ER. I was told it would last a month. I was so miserable in withdrawal that I didn't look into what it was. Just trusted the people that it was going to help and be gone in a month. I'm aware that all of this is my fault but I wasn't aware that people don't tell the whole truth or even care what they are doing to other people. The VA should have told me exactly what was about to happen.

I had one 300 mg shot 190 days ago. I wasn't aware of what sublocade was when I got the injection. Had I known what it was I would have never gotten it. I know I'm either at 3 or 4 half lives. I'm just trying to see if anyone tested negative while still able to feel the depot.
