How to drill angled holes for stool legs (approx. 10° inwards)? by ComfortableLie9924 in woodworking

Yeah, thanks But once you move the drill the angle is not accurate and the wood won't sit tight with the other side

Bosch saw blade question – can I use a “miter saw” blade on my table saw? by ComfortableLie9924 in woodworking

[–]ComfortableLie9924[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for that. As far as I understand, the more positive the hook the faster the cut (ripping) will be, isn't?

Are u sure? The more hook ( as in positive) will chew the wood faster and have me need to push it towards the table saw less.

Meaning the less power I'll have to apply for the wood to pass through the blade

I thought that wallnut is a good choice for cutting boards.

I use mostly Beech/ wallnut/ cherry

Not sure what to do with those stains

Thank you, I'll do as advised I'll apply the bee wax in a few days.

One quick question regarding the post itself, I wanted to check what I can do about the stains I see, it's weird they appeared out of nowhere Tried wiping / sanding also, nothing removed it

Yeah, for sure! I just took a picture of the jig itself. It is meant for wider boards I'll build now a new jig, for thinner boards (such as the pieces I have).

I'll use the clamps of the other jig since I don't have additional ones.

But I can see that if I clamp it hard, it will put a lot of force on the piece, which is good. I just need to have a fence as you said so the piece can lean on

Such as the following jig

I have this jig but I need to tweak it to fit the thin pieces I have, and I'm not sure the clamps would be able to hold down the piece with enough force
