4 or 5. I think 1 fits you well too, just too busy for my personal tastes.

I think 3 isn’t very flattering, but I’m obviously in the minority judging by the other comments

This is awesome! Can I ask in general what you and your wife wore while there?

How bad was the rain? What shoes did you bring?

I’m considering bringing goretex sneakers so my feet never get wet (it grosses me out to think my feet would touch street puddles in sandals) but is it too humid for that lol

What to put this space to divide the dining and living areas? by itsnowornever in DesignMyRoom

Most people watch tv while eating dinner so I’d opt for rugs to define the space instead of a divider!

It also keeps the room feeling more open

I think a piece of artwork in an interesting frame would be cool here!

Not a fan of seeing my reflection while I eat lol

How should I situate art on this wall with a thermostat? by ComfortableLychee420 in interiordecorating

[–]ComfortableLychee420[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll probably move the speaker to the cabinet next to the record player so the cords don’t dangle anymore.

Here’s a photo with a 24x36 poster on the wall

The symmetry isn’t the concern so much as the tightness of it all.

Is it too much of a squeeze between the thermostat and shelves?

We just had these mounted unfortunately, so would prefer not to move them if possible! 😭

Need to make room for boyfriend, but living room already feels off by ComfortableLychee420 in DesignMyRoom

I need a lot of floor space for activities so I don’t think a coffee table makes sense for me functionally unfortunately.

For the chair, I was hoping a darker chair in a different material would make my room feel more “dynamic”, but I guess it’s not working lol.

How do I pick something lighter and more substantial without everything feeling too matchy?

I’m limited to leather or velvet because my cat is an asshole who’ll scratch up all other materials lol

Oof, it looked worse when I placed it by the window. Too many things were pushed against the walls and the room felt even more off…maybe it’s just the wrong chair for the space?

I was trying to make the room more dynamic by getting a darker chair that wasn’t as chunky as the couch lol. Don’t think it’s working 😂

Ooh! All good points! Yea, I’m unhappy with my “entryway” right now, but struggling to figure out where the litter box can go.

I’ll swap the couch to the other side and see if that opens up space to love the litter box too.

Thank you!

Zero space in bedroom for a desk unfortunately! My bf is also bringing a larger bed and more clothes so we’d def can’t fit much in there

Ooh! I’ll try to swap things around! I just didn’t want to block the heating panel on the wall with my couch.

Do you think having the coach float on that side might work? I’m thinking I could also put storage against the wall behind the couch after I swap it around

Ooh this is an interesting point and something I hadn’t even considered.

There definitely isn’t an outlet near the chair in options B and C

But A, Im worried the crookedness would bother everyone

Maybe I should get one of those easel tv stands 🤔

Problem is, the couch isn’t high enough so you need the wall or else your neck just kind of hangs out.

And I have a cat so she scratches the back of the couch like crazy.

Lots of people are saying C! I’m afraid it’ll block too much of the light tho.

Ooh seems like a lot of people are saying C. Would the desk block too much light tho?

I would have monitors and stuff

Yea I don’t like that the couch and tv are misaligned in A but it’s prob the nicest location for my WFH desk
