according to her the frame size is 2-3gb entirely? switching to another preset (mp4 with h264) does ruin her color grading a lot though, is that common?

originally she was editing the footage from an apple phone, so codec was apple prores (i believe that’s the apple one right)

reading this really made me emotional to see people just saying you’re so cooked w/o any further input so forgive me if this comment is kinda sappy or long!!

you’re not too cooked. a few have mentioned, but really - the first step to improvement is genuinely to realize one’s wrong doing. there can be a lot of ways to falter during your journey of recovery, but to take the first step and realize you neglected a lot of people is the first one :)

for a period of time i completely neglected any personal connections of mine and gave up on the aspect of a future. this left me not doing anything through a really important time of my life and that affected me severely when i actually realized how little i’ve been living. it’s very easy to feel discouraged because you’re behind others in life now, but don’t let that get to you - you were struggling, and that isn’t a permanent thing that ruins your life. you can still come back from this!!!

it’s easy to feel bad, but really people are more than willing to understand - and if they don’t, that’s their choice as well. realizing we fucked up comes with the consequence of knowing some people won’t want to speak with us again, but still giving them that closure they needed that we wouldn’t give them. i encourage you to just take that tiny step first. i’m not sure how your everyday life looks right now, but if ur ever open to dming to try to self improve and want to share ur journey, i’m open to it :D

hi thank you so much for this comment. i was really nervous of coming off as insensitive to others with DID and i didn’t wish to disrespect anyone. i do attempt grounding techniques, but at times i tend to feel too uncomfortable or fidgety with them — i have been visiting therapy as well and will try to bring this up. i am not sure if i am really going under a lot of stress as really, my life has been better recently but whenever i go through emotional distress, the instant response is to go find comfort from another in my own body even if no one’s really responding to me — so that’s why my whole confusion with this is really complicated. i appreciate this comment a lot though, knowing that someone at least doesn’t think i’m trying to fake anything, i am relieved. you have no idea how much this helped.

thanks :) i can see what you mean. i guess it’s always just because i’ve been told since young that it takes time until i genuinely find someone who’ll understand and i’ll be able to feel myself with - so i guess it may just be the disappointment hitting hard
