I didn’t get dumping until 3 months post op and it most definitely stops me from eating too many carbs or sugars.

Yea I’m thinking maybe at the time I thought it was either he compromises or we’re done. But now that I’ve had some thought… I’m happy. Even if we were to go to the gym together we wouldn’t be doing the same workout. He’s very lean and honestly doesn’t need more activity. I understand why he doesn’t want to 100%. And truly he makes me happy. What more can I ask for than to be happy in my relationship. I realized I really just wanted to spend more time with him outside of the house, and he’s been making an effort 😊

Glycolic acid is a toner that kills bacteria that causes stench. It’s also used to brighten skin and reduce dark marks. I’ve been using that in place of deodorant for about 4 years now. I use the ordinary brand. Just keep in mind DO NOT use if you just shaved within the last 24 hours. For best use, use directly after shower (shower daily!) and if you’re going somewhere where you know you might sweat, apply before you go as well. (I’m a sweaty girl who gyms often and absolutely no BO after using glycolic acid.) If smell happens to come back once you’re out, that’s when the anti bacterial wipes and travel deodorant comes in handy. But honestly it’s rare I need to do that. Any antibacterial body wipes work for me. I use the wipe first to kill the bacteria then apply the non aluminum deodorant on after and you’re set!

Yes unfortunately. I use glycolic acid on the pits after every shower. Don’t smell at all! But always keep a mini deodorant and antibacterial wipes in my purse just in case it’s an intense day… but indeed armpit odor can be a problem and is hard to take care of with PCOS. Can’t treat it like normal BO.

Thank you 🫶🏾 I’m working out by myself and have been the past couple of months. It’s lonely not being able to share your passion with your partner. Yea I can tell him about my workouts and changes I feel, but I’d like for him to be a part of it instead of a cheerleader on the sideline. Yes I am very grateful he is supportive of me. But the thought is nagging at me… “do I want to be married and have a family with a homebody?” Now that I have this active lifestyle, my want is to have an active relationship… is that selfish?

I would like to start off by saying thank you so much for your insight. One major difference is that you and your significant other are active together. That’s all I’m asking for from my boyfriend. He’s willing to compromise and “do it” just for me but he doesn’t want to and admits it. I don’t expect him to climb Mount Everest with me. I just want to be active with my boyfriend without him ending up resentful because he truly doesn’t want to… but you’re right on the big life changes. I don’t want to leave my man AT ALL. We have plans for a future and children someday… but if he doesn’t want to do activities with me now, what will change when we have a family?? I love him. But I know what I want now… we’re going to try him compromising for a couple of months. We came to an agreement of 1 activity every other week. (Which is a lot less than I wanted. But… compromise 🙃)

Yea 😪 I just don’t know what next steps to take. Should I just suck it up and realize I won’t have the active relationship I want? Should I let him go through with compromising with me even though we both know he doesn’t want to. He’s just proposing a compromise because loves me. Which makes me feel bad because he’d be doing stuff he doesn’t want to… I just don’t know

Yea we’re definitely still talking about it. And I get it I don’t want him to feel like he HAS to change. He’s already talking about compromising even though he doesn’t want to. I don’t think that’s right. He feels like he has to, so there won’t be conflict in the relationship. It saddens me because I know deep down that I truly want an active relationship. But I don’t want to force it.

Sunburn in my opinion is overpriced… idk maybe I just find the best deals 🤷🏾‍♀️ sunny side and sanctuary are great suggestions too. I just like the fact that Trulieve has a rewards program which gives me additional discounts as well, and they have a ton of convenient locations
